Our apartment is a home from home with everything you could need or want, much more cozy and friendly than a hotel and cheaper too!
Whether you are a family looking for adventure and a good base to explore the city, a couple looking for a romantic break away or just friends looking for a great place to escape to, then this is the place.
It is a brand new, modern, comfortable and fully equipped apartment, just a stone's throw away from the city centre, located at the sides of the most central hill of Athens, in a safe and quiet residential neighborhood, providing amazing view of the Acropolis and the Saronic gulf including Piraeus port and the islands of Aegina and Salamis.

Response from the owner Dear Vincent Thank you for your comments. I believe that from the apartment's description and the photos is clear that the best views of Athens is from the terrace - roof garden (on the 4rth floor). This terrace is shared among the guests of the 3 apartments I let in this building, but is rather rare to meet other guests there. Even if it happens to meet other guests, then there is more than enough space (180m2) and sitting arrangement (3 big tables and chairs for 20 people plus BBQ) to accommodate my tenants. As per the kitchen equipment, there are pots, tans, dishes & glasses, Gas & Electric Kitchen and Oven and all possible appliances and devices to cover the cooking needs of 8 guests (such as dish washer with tablets, micro oven, coffee maker, Italian coffee maker, toaster, boiler-cattle, juice maker, etc. Plus coffee, sugar and tea. Plus detergent for the washing machine. I would be happy if you let us know what was missing and I promise to add it for the next guests. Thank you again. Nikos.

“Excellent stay”
We spent a thoroughly enjoyable week at chez Nikos and we would strongly recommend any waverer to sign on the dotted line and get booked up. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped in all respects and the views from the balconies are breathtaking. Kipseli as a really good location and ever available, cheap taxis mean getting in and out of the centre is no problem. Nikos is an ever helpful host and willing to help make his guest's stay in Athens enjoyable. Obviously the news might put visitors off the idea of visiting the city at the moment. Please do not let this be the case. It is sad to see what a hard time the people are having, but the way they are keeping their chins up is actually rather inspiring. If ever there was a time to visit Athens it is now. The people need us to eat in their restaurants, drink in their bars, ride in their taxis and tell everyone at home what a complete and utter disgrace the austerity measures we are pushing down their throats really are. Vitally, the pictures of the apartment do not lie. It really is as nice as it looks. The pictures of the views of the city in no way do justice to the magnificent vistas which are the reality. Go visit!

“Fantastic Stay Near Athens City Centre”
Great apartment well located less than 15 mins drive from Plaka and the Acropolis. A spacious, spotless apartment equipped to a very high standard with everything we needed for our 5 day stay in the city. Easy access to a roof terrace with great views of the city. Nikos was very professional and friendly from start to finish and was on hand when we arrived to show us around. Thanks for a great stay Nikos - much appreciated - and hope to see you again when we come to Athens. Rich & Chris.

“great apartment, wonderful holiday”
This is a really nice flat in a good location - the immediate area is virtually traffic free, and it feels like a real neighbourhood. The flat itself is pristine, has everything you need, plus a small garden and an outstanding roof terrace with amazing views - great place for a sundowner after an energetic day sightseeing! At the bottom of the hill is the local square (shops, cafes and taxi rank), off which runs Fokinos Negri, a lovely park like pedestrian route (about 1km long) that takes you directly to one of the main roads of the city. At the top end (nearest to the flat) are lots of small, friendly restaurants and coffee shops, serving really good food very inexpensively. We were there for a week and walked absolutely everywhere in the city, only time we used the metro was to Piraeus, but the flat is up a steep hill (hence the amazing views) . Nikos went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable, thank you Nikos!

“Superb!”
A suberb apartment. Lovely and clean and it has a very good kitchen. Nikos was very friendly and went out of his way to help us. The location is a little out of Athens - you can walk into the centre - about half an hour (maybe less) or get a bus from nearby and be in in 10 mins. It was good to be out of the centre in a safe area with our children yet we could easily go into town for sight-seeing each day. (D.Daly – UK)

“Great for a family”
Nikos, the owner of the apartment, was extremely caring of our needs. He will pick up from the airport (for a fee). A taxi from the airport cost approx 35 euros. We caught a taxi to the Acropolis Museum (10 euros), but there is a local bus service. There is a rooftop terrace with great views of the Acropolis. We travelled as a three generation family of 7 which was a bit tight for the apartment, but for a couple of nights it was a very homely base. (Sydney, Australia)
