“Magical!!” My husband took me here for a birthday treat and it turned out to be the absolute icing on the cake! We were not expecting the cottage to be so exceptional. It catered for an entire family and there was nothing missing for a perfect stay. The cottage and indoor pool were well heated and we found our stay so cosy that we failed to explore the beautiful scenery. However, we had the perfect view from the window. We found some great eating places in Barnstaple which wasn't too far. And finally we got had the most beautiful experience watching the stars in the night... that truelly was magical!

“Wonderful house. Had all we needed. Great location.” All the family thought that The School House was a great place for a family weekend away. Large and comfortable and location good. Walks nearby. Everything needed was provided. The family particularly enjoyed playing table tennis. All arrangements went very smoothly. No problems.

“Amazing week at The Devon Lodge” We returned this Summer to the Devon lodge. The weather forecast was not good but turned out to be wrong. We were on the beach most days until the evening, the children were body boarding and rockpooling and kite flying. We spent our time at Duckpool, Sandymouth, Croyde and Bude. Fantastic week, would highly recommend. Didn't spend too much time in the Lodge as we were out each day but the accommodation is of very high standard, it was very comfortable, clean and very well equipped for eating in and maps, games, etc.
