“A grand disappointment in Brussels”

Response from the owner Jeffrey and his wife are both elderly people clearly getting through life in bitterness due to circumstances. The studio is 100% as described, the numerous pictures speak for themselves ... in fact a complement we receive from customers immediately when they enter the unit because they recognize themselves right away. What Jeffrey is avoiding to explain and refers to as excuses is the fact that he wanted us to change the bed ... he wanted an Amercan Bed, a high bed because he complained that he had to help his wife out of the bed in the morning. When both Trip Advisor and me explained him why this request was not going to happen, he then wanted us to put the bed on Cell Block's ... 12 huge bricks he wanted to get the boxspring bed at his desired height. An impossible and dangerous request that was rejected by Trip Advisor for safety reasons and insurance coverage, it's not allowed to manipulate a bed this way. Jeffrey and his wife were absent on every appointment to check them out. Trip Advisor explained me that they were on a 2 month trip through Europe and complaining almost every accommodation in order to collect refunds ... appologizing for this exceptional situation. The way Jeffrey is degrading this five star accommodation and misleading future customers by his review explains who is the most horrific person in this matter. LUXURY STUDIO in QUEEN'S PARK ... BRUSSELS has numerous and excellent 5 -star reviews on different booking websites and the owner has Super Host status.

Response from the owner Hi, I'm Jonathan ... owner of the Luxury Studio in Queen's Park ... good day to all. First of all, there is an excellent coffee machine, but mine is a Dolce Gusto from Nescafé ... Robert Mason wants a Nespresso, so you can see where this is already going. I want to thank all my 37 guest reviews from different sites which result in a 5 star accommodation ... everybody gave excellent reviews, thank you so much! For those still interested in unhappiness, here's my reply to Robert's complaints. It already started months ago when Robert made his reservation criticising the Trip Advisor booking policies, warranty and payment options ... we did every change possible to please him. An extra effort was made because he wanted an early check in at 10 in the morning, again we're here to please. On their arrival, I met them from the outside witnessing how they were already anxious the front door didn't open right away when they were pushing the bell ... but so far all went well. Everything started with Robert's wife numerous sighs and menaces to leave the place and go for a hotel ... the apartment wasn't hot enough, even with temperatures above 22 degrees. I explained them I've aerated the apartment for fresh air just before their arrival, but it was hard to get the message through. A simple battery change on the thermostat was needed to get the temperature even higher. I asked them if they were actually cold ... and they said no, but that they would keep me informed in case they wanted to move to a hotel. I couldn't help myself finally stating that half the world was dying from hunger and that I had family illness on my mind, while they were complaining for nothing that made sense ... I did not slam the door actually left it open, after they offended me telling they couldn't care less. A few hours later I couldn't believe Robert asked for an extra heater, which I brought him after a two hour drive the next morning at 11. I think they must have reached 40 degrees all heatings put together!
