A 30 km da Catanzaro, sulla costa Jonica calabrese, paese affacciato sulla splendida spiaggia di Badolato, ai piedi del suggestivo borgo medievale, uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia, caratteristico per le numerose chiese disposte a forma di croce latina e i suoi vicoli caratteristici, un borgo costruito su un impianto architettonico bizantino, adagiato su una collina che si affaccia sul mare.
