Description

Oscar's is a period Victorian townhouse with stunning views over the Marina and Irish sea. It truly has a beautiful location. Each room has been carefully decorated with many of the original features maintained. We offer a large comfortable lounge/dining room with Marina views, very large kitchen with dining area and utility room with washer/dryer. There is also a downstairs toilet facility. Upstairs is very spacious offering 5 bedrooms,(2 bedrooms with king beds and 2 bedrooms with double beds. One room has two single beds). There is a family bathroom, separate shower room and one bedroom has ensuite facilities. Pickie Fun park for the children is on your doorstep as well as numerous Cafe's, Restaurants and Clubs and Pubs all within walking distance. Open the door and you are on the Coastal path where you can cycle, jog, walk and simply enjoy what the surrounding area has to offer. There is a small front garden where you can sit and take in the beautiful view, and a charcoal BBQ can be supplied on request. On street parking spaces are readily available in front of the property. Bangor Train station is a 10 minute walk away with excellent rail links to Belfast and Dublin. Belfast City Airport is 20 minutes away by car or Belfast International is 40 minutes. Some pets are allowed, but please ask BEFORE you book and note that a pet deposit is required. Come and enjoy the comfort that Oscar's has to offer, we look forward to welcoming you. Please note that for any more than 4 guests there is a charge of £20 pp per night.To avoid confusion please ask if you have any questions, we are happy to help. Please note: We also offer stays at Oscar's by the Sea, our other property which is a10 minute walk from Oscar's at the Marina (and has equally stunning views - accommodates 12 guests). Getting around

Coastal path right outside your door with walks to Ballyholme or Helen's Bay/Holywood. A car is not necessary as there are good taxi services in Bangor as well as the train at the top of Main Street with Services into Belfast and Dublin.

“Perfect location for central Bangor”

Centrally located, finished to a high standard and very well equipped. Shops and restaurants are only a short stroll away and there are fantastic views of the marina and Lough. Parking is available right outside and a few yards away in a public carpark (which is currently free). We have very fond memories of our stay at Oscar's and have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Andrew & family.

“Beautiful townhouse with Marina view”

We booked Oscar’s for a long weekend to visit a friend in Bangor. We arrived to find a beautiful three-story townhouse with everything we could possibly need for our stay and an abundance of space! It also has the added bonus of being in a great location with stunning views of the Marina. Sara and Chris also made our stay super easy to organise, always responding quickly to questions. Pubs, restaurants and parks are all within easy walking distance - if you fancy a seafront walk then Starfish Cafe at Cairn Bay Lodge is a great place to visit for brunch. Their chorizo jam was amazing!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
