Located in the heart of the city - a premier location as it is one of the few pedestrianised streets in the City, in the beautiful district of Dreta l'Eixample. Old world style meets modern in this fully renovated luxury 3 double bedroom apartment with large private outdoor terrace. Next to Girona Metro Station and set within an 18th century period building, in the most exclusive area in Barcelona City Centre. Sleeps up to 5. Perfect for families. Not suitable for large groups looking to party.

On the doorstep of great restaurants. Minutes walk away from Passeig de Gracia, the Ramblas and the Gaudi buildings. The beach can be accessed by walking or by metro (next to the apartment) within 5 minutes.

Open plan living room, dining area, with designer kitchen. The apartment was recently fully renovated to a very high standard, with solid oak wood floors throughout. The ceilings are 3.6m high with period features. TV. Bluetooth sound system. High Speed Fibre WIFI.

Sleeps up to 5. 3 bedrooms (1 king with memory foam mattress & 2 doubles).

Luxury bathroom contains a large wet room style shower, WC, sink and heated towel rail. It features a large frosted glass wall adding a very stylish finish. It is tiled with porcelain and mosaics, offering a sleek Mediterranean look.

Kitchen: Luxury kitchen with granite work tops, fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven and hob, toaster, kettle, Delonghi coffee machine, washing machine, iron & ironing board. kitchen utensils and dishes provided. Dining table seats 6, which enables you to enjoy a home cooked meal after a busy day exploring the wonders of Barcelona.

Living Room: Open plan living with a handmade, luxury, leather sofa, with additional pull out seating. There are solid oak wood floors. The original fireplace has been restored. There is a Bluetooth portable sound system. High Speed Fibre WIFI

Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service: Towels and linen provided. Iron & Ironing board and Hairdryer provided. The apartment is cleaned and checked before arrival and all fresh linen and towels supplied.

The apartment has air conditioning and there is heating in all rooms and fans in all bedrooms

You will be welcomed on arrival and given a full introduction to both Barcelona and your holiday home!

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

The Tourist Tax (obligatory under Catalonian Law) must be paid upon arrival. The cost is €5.50 (2023) per adult (over 16 years old) per night. It must only be paid for the first 7 nights of the stay.

Our apartment is within easy walking distance to all major sites of Barcelona. We also have Girona Metro station opposite the apartment, which will get you to the beach in 5 minutes or other destinations on L4. Passieg De Gracia, is the major shopping street in Barcelona and is a 10 minute walk from our apartment

“Leading By Eixample”

Having been to Barcelona quite a few times before, I'd never really considered Girona/Eixample as an area to base myself in before, but it has everything. Great food options/lively bars, and is very convenient location wise. Definitely felt a lot safer/more relaxed than Gotic or Raval, and a short direct metro from the beach. The apartment was spacious, clean, quite and had everything you could want, including the quietest washing machine I've ever used. The host (Helen) was great at communicating, and very helpful. Everything was as described and more. Looking forward to seeing more of this fantastic part of the city.

Response from the owner I find this an odd review given the windows in our master bedroom are double glazed. This is the maximum we can do in a historic building as we have to preserve the facade of the property. Lee had the address a week before checking in and the location pin on trip advisor is correct so I am once again lost at his comments. We also don’t advertise our apartment with a lift as we are only on the second floor and Lucas will help with luggage if necessary. I could go on but I think best put this experience behind us.

Even more saddening was the threatening text message we received from Ray demanding money or else he would leave a bad review. We do not work in this way and we have never come across this behavior with any other guest before.

With regards to cleaning, we have certainly never had this comment before and the apartment was thoroughly cleaned before your arrival. We have spoken with the cleaner and mentioned your comments so they can improve for the future. With regards to the construction, this is in the neighbouring building and we have little control. We have been out to our apartment to assess the situation since your stay and noted there is no work at weekends and they work a very short working day, with breaks. We have also been assured that the work is almost complete. The washing machine is only 2 years old. I have used it myself since your visit with no problems.
