Description

Located on the first floor of an old village house, with immediate access from the street, this spacious, light and high-ceiling apartment has large rooms and a homely feel. Both sitting room and main bedroom look out over the valley to the south and so benefit from the early- to mid-morning sun, which streams through the tall, old fashioned-windows. On these kinds of mornings, it is lovely to fling open the windows and admire the views and street below. A decent-sized terrace, shaded in Summer by an overhead vine, is directly accessible from the large, well-equipped kitchen at the back of the building. For the Winter months and for those wanting full-afternoon sun in Summer, an upper garden-terrace is available, up a few, fairly steep steps. This apartment sleeps 4 comfortably, with an option of accommodating an extra two people on the sofa-bed in the sitting room. Bargemon is a small, friendly village with its share of art galleries, ramparts, fountains and museums. Fetching the fresh baguette, croissants and pain au chocolats first thing in the morning, takes minutes. And for later in the day, there is a selection of restaurants (some of which close in the Winter months) including owner-chef establishments serving excellent, innovative food. There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area and is particularly well placed for those loving outdoor sports and lifestyle.
