Away from the tourists yet close to the most beautiful, deserted beaches, breezy, safe, residential neighborhood. NO NIGHTLIFE in walking distance! Suitable for travelers seeking peace and nature. Car is not necessary but is highly recommended.

Forget the South or West coast! Too crowded, too hot, very noisy, dogs barking all night long, eroding beaches and way too expensive tourist trap.

This spacious and clean 2 unit house is located on the south east part of the island known for its cooling, Atlantic breeze. It's walking distance to the 5 most beautiful, uncrowded beaches. With its rugged, beautiful scenery the quiet and friendly Belair neighborhood is a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the south and west coasts.

The apartment is on the ground floor. It has a private entrance through large private patio, includes a living room, fully equipped kitchen and a full bathroom as well as a luxurious outdoor shower.

The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and is a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach. Other beaches are 15-20 minutes away or 5 minutes by car. They include:

- Bottom Bay Beach (our favorite!) - Crane Beach (very popular 5 star hotel, with great views) - Foul Bay Beach - Sam Lords Castle Beach - Plus a few more secret beaches, which we're happy to share with you!

15 minute drive to the airport 20 minutes to Oistins Fish Market, 30 min to the night life area: St. Lawrence Gap

We have been coming to Barbados for many years now and are familiar with the best beaches and sight seeing. We have a map upon request, which highlights the best places to see. Large and very well equipped Emerald City Supermarket is at Six Roads, 10 min drive.

Getting around

The best way to get around is a car. Buses run on the main road every 30 min direction to and from Bridgetown. The cost is US $ 2.75 per ride, you must have change! During the rush hour or on the weekend they have delays, so brace yourself with patience.

Interaction with guest

I am staying in the top floor unit in the winter months: from November till April. For the rest of the year the top floor is usually not occupied. But no worries, I have a great property manager, Troy, who lives in the neighborhood and takes care of the house. He can assist you will all your needs.

“Tera house”

A very spacious property , very well equipped kitchen and a large variety of yoga mats, weights etc. Water sports also catered for. Outside area was ideal for eating outside and relaxing in the evening. Pool and area around was wonderful Plenty of loungers, seating and water beds. The area was shaded in places which we needed when the sun got too hot The owner was a truly remarkable lady who does everything to make you feel welcome.

The location does not lend itself to other attractions. The salt water pool Near enough to the sea so the sound of waves was soporific. All amenities were of good quality and easy to use
