Description from owner

Description

Semi self-contained guest suite, central, quiet, in heritage area.

One bedroom/ensuite, one sitting/dining room in 1904 Victorian era cottage.

Welcome to Rushton Cottage in this “new normal” era. Here's information to reassure you your health is a priority.

• There will be 48 hours between bookings for a deep clean.

• Guest and host living spaces are separate, that is, no communal areas.

• You and any travelling partner will be the only guest (s).

• The option to arrive without contact with the host and 24/7 host support will continue.

• Bookings for two guests (known to each other) or one single guest are welcome.

Rushton Cottage private guest suite is in a 1904 Edwardian cottage. The suite has one large bedroom with ensuite (shower-over-bath), one sitting/dining room, a private entrance and furnished front verandah.

The guest bedroom can be made up for one couple (king bed) or two singles (king singles twin-share).

Children are also welcome.

Pets are welcome by prior arrangement and must always be in the care of their "person".

Rushton Cottage has the charm of days-gone-by with high ceilings, original wood flooring, and bull-nosed veranda. The Cottage is in a heritage tree-lined street and easy walking distance to most of Benalla’s cafes, restaurants and shops, sport and recreation centers, arts, and cultural destinations.

The "guest only" front entrance opens into a central high ceiling hall. The furnished north facing veranda captures the warm winter sun and cool breezes in summer. Off-street guest parking and a dog-proof fenced cottage garden complete the suite.

The guest suite overlooks a traditional cottage garden and the north-facing veranda - an ideal place to wine, dine, soak up the sun and ponder those ‘wouldn’t it be lovely” plans.
