Welcome to Camp Wood!! Sitting right across the street from the shores of the lake and boasting amazing lake-views from almost every room you will be just under one mile to the downtown Village and local Marinas, perfect for any group needing immediate year round access to the best Big Bear activities. Our furnished and charming original mountain cabin sits on a spacious grass covered corner lot which allows your group access to enjoy amazing lake and sunrise views across the street paired with a relaxing outdoor patio area. Stroll over to the dock or community pool at our local Shore Acres Lodge just across the street or hop in the car and you are at either ski resort in under ten minutes- you can't beat this unbeatable location.
Enter your cabin where you are greeted with original mountain vibes that include knotty pine wall accents and beamed ceilings paired perfectly with freshly renovated hardwood floors and the coziest atmosphere for your group to visit together. Enjoy lake-views from the viewing room couch where you can watch the sunrise in the morning while you sip your first cup of coffee or enjoy snowflakes falling right outside your windows in the winter months. Snuggle up on the comfy couches as you warm your toes together in front of the toasty wood burning pot belly stove to watch a movie, the owners have provided a large flat screen TV with Cable and complimentary hi speed WIFI internet for your enjoyment. Around the corner here on the lower entry level you will find the adorable dining area and kitchen, complete with all that you need to enjoy fantastic meals together as a group. We do not have this home advertised as having a hot tub, though we do have the jetted spa tub in the Master bathroom advertised in our photos. “The Getaway”

Camp Wood #422 has been with us at Big Bear Vacations for quite some time and has done very well in guest satisfaction as well as repeat clientele. Due to the same day notice of arrival during peak season this property did not undergo an inspection before your arrival. For that we apologize again, since then we have done a deep cleaning and full carpet shampoo to ensure the quality and cleanliness for the next guest. We appreciate your feedback and honesty. Camp Wood #422 is a wonderful cabin for all seasons to come and is located across the street from our lovely Big Bear Lake and next to The Shore Acres Lodge. Less than a mile away is the Village and local marina. We are very confident in the over all quality of this property.
