Description

If you enjoy being on the beach, Castaway Lodge by the Sea is a cleverly designed and thoughtfully appointed cottage set back 125 feet from the water’s edge. It is a charming, immaculate and well equipped, air conditioned studio style bungalow situated on a half acre, with your own private beach. Although small and compact, what it lacks in size it makes up for in character. Castaway is the ideal spot for couples who are outdoor oriented and prefer the seclusion that the grounds provide.

While you are more than able to cook and enjoy your meals inside the cottage there is an outdoor grill and large patio table with chairs under a tree shaded grotto. And after your meal you can take a relaxing stroll along the beach or just nap in one of the two hammocks under the cover of coconut palms.

The lodge is situated in historic Bodden Town, away from the hustle and bustle of Seven Mile Beach but centrally located for exploring the island. Trips to the Mastic Trail, Botanic Park, East End, Rum Point and Turtle Farm are easily accessible, but you will find abundant indigenous wildlife right outside your front door! There is a ‘changing station’ for hermit crabs, wild Cayman parrots scouring the sea grape tree for fruit and you may even spy an iguana in the almond tree!

This is the ideal escape to the place you’ve dreamed about for too long. Worry-free, romantic, idyllic, relaxing----a chance to recharge and spend some quality time with your love on this authentic Caribbean Getaway!

How do damage deposits work?
