“Great Michigan Getaway!” Our stay at Indian Pointe was beyond our expectations! The house and amenities were great! The only thing I will now know for next year (yes, we hope to return again next fall) was the fact that so many little things were supplied with the rental such as coffee, sugar, tea, coffee filters, etc. This was a great weekend getaway! It felt like our home away from home!

Indian Point- woodland experience with Saugatuck/Douglass and su

What a gem! Me and my travel pal experienced much more than we had ever expected! A woodland setting with nearby local activities of Saugatuck and Douglas- not to mention other communities, just minutes away from this space. Indian Point has an amazing view of the slow flowing Kalamazoo river and a vast marshland beyond by all visual points of the back of this cottage. A screened in back porch is nothing but solace and beacons one to just sit and take it all in at any given moment. This is truly a woodland gem with the gift of a slow flowing river just out its back door- kayak included! A great space for an individual, a couple, or a small family- it is so serene and accommodating that the pictures don't even relay the experience you will have. A wood burning stove for a winter stay. Indian Point gives all the comforts of a woodland cottage yet it provides technological advantages like a flat screen TV and an awesome sound system- we played americana/ folk music the whole weekend and just decompressed from all the "stuff" that a vacation should relieve ones soul from. What a treat this little gem is, and not to missed for the experience one or two or more can have here. I was so moved by this space that I have shared the info with all of my friends and clients- My pictures are amazing! It was really something to wake up- just raise my head- and have such an amazing view right out the back door wall-from the bed..while the screened-in porch was a real treat for the evening, or morning journalling and breakfast...an amazing space to stay when you want to just be- or go into town and then get back "home" just to chill and relax. A great space for a single person, couples, familia! You must check this space out- it's amazing! I will be back- as were all the sentiments in the guest book!
