“There is nothing left to say” I realy cant add anything else to previous reviews. Hillgate house is Home from Home. Don't worry if you have left anything behind, I can assure you its there waiting for you at Hillgate House. Just one constructive critism a bigger fridge with possibly a freezer would be wonderfull. Otherwise !!! what can I say .

“Black n white gem” Bijoux barn conversion in the heart of little known 'black and white' part of the country. The cottage was clean , well-equipped and perfect for a cosy hideaway. The owner couldn't have been more helpful with a lovely welcome of homemade cake! Loved the spiral staircase! Right in the heart of the country. Night skies were breathtaking.

“Hot tub heaven” This is our second visit to the Old Barn. Visitors may be a bit surprised on arrival as the property is part of a business, with commercial property and vehicles close by. Don't let that put you off. The property is excellent, with excellent underfloor heating, power showers, 4 poster bed and a hot tub among many features. The owners are on site and if there are any problems they can assist virtually immediately. What more can I say? Ah yes, the hot tub. I wonder how much they cost.

“Beautiful cottage in great location” We stayed here while visiting family nearby. It is a beautiful conversion with all the equipment you would need and more, and space for us to welcome visitors. There are some lovely touches like the kids playground, toys for kids, phone box with great maps and local info, and the owners are on hand if you need them. Would recommend to anyone wanting a real country break with luxury!

“Peaceful relaxing location away from all the hustle and bustle.” The owners were nice and friendly and very helpful if you wanted to know anything about the surrounding areas and where to do sightseeing and places of interest to visit. The only drawback is that there was no shops nearby if you wanted to buy a newspaper or run out of milk or bread. Bridgenorth is the nearest town and it has some nice shops and tearooms.

“Peaceful, restful holiday in a stunning setting” Spent a very happy week in Meadow Lea at the beginning of april. Clean, quiet, very well equipped and a delicious cake of arrival. Stunning views across the valley to the River Lugg. Good, efficient central heating and plenty of parking.

beautiful restful cottage

We stayed here in September 2013 with our small dog. The cottage is beautifully appointed, on a working farm with lots going on. The owner, Frank, and his family were wonderful hosts, always there if there were any queries and gave us many tips and pointers to local 'must see' attractions and local food producers. We found it easy to find and enough off the beaten track to have peace and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with cleaning items and crockery, so no need to take the kitchen sink! Wi-Fi freely available, good connection, storage heating is really warm, adjustable to your taste. Our dog loved it! We will definitely stay here again. … see more
