“Most amazing villa I've stayed in” This villa is deceivingly huge. The photos don't do it justice whatsoever. We had a quiet stay in probably the best part of seminyak, just walk to the shops and all the restaurants. We loved being able to walk to potatoe head and the beach. The rooms are massive and it's so comfortable, can fit so many people comfortable and the rooftop is such a bonus. I'd recommend this villa to everyone, I'II surely be back. “Best view on Bali and very luxurious.” I stayed for 9 wonderful days. It is located 2 km from the nearest village, 25 minute walk on narrow jungle road that is bumpy and became unpassable 400 meters before the villa in this very rainy season so we had to walk those last meters. Car could not be used but I had my own driver. Having read the other reviews I need to make a few comments: the villa is very luxurious. The marvelous Balinese furniture is top class and super luxurious. The 4 bedrooms are great and all with great views. The pool is fantastic and was not too cold (about 20 degrees). Some will not like that temperature but most will. The owner would not swim in this time of year. He is a very nice man who stays with family in Ubud when he has guests in the villa and is on holiday on Bali. Personell is wonderful, especially Ketut, who lives with wife and child in the cottage just behind the villa, under the restaurant/bar (which is only for guests). During day he leaves you quite alone and only comes (in my case) for breakfast and dinner at agreed times. The view is more spectacular than I had imagined. Pictzres don't do it justice, You see the deep valley and behind it 9 mountains, not "Payangan range" as one reviewer says, but the high ones around the northern lakes, with Batukaru in front to the left. The top lounge has a DVD player that also plays CDs and there is a collection of 260 legal Dvds (Australian), divided (by me) in action, Drama and Comedy, alphabetically. All sorts of great films. Also other Dvds in the drawer. Villa is at 660 meters and no airco or ventilation was needed during day or night (and I normally need it more than others).I could wear what I wanted all day and evening. About the rooms: not all beds are equal. The ones on middle floor are King size (180 cm) and soft beds. The ones on lower level are 160 cm and hard mattrasses. Villa surrounded by neighbours with animals so not totally quiet. "Relaxing, quiet" will mean for reviewers that it was OK for them.

“What an amazing villa” Travelling to Bali for our sons 23rd & 21st birthdays we knew we wanted something special . Villa annecy certainly lived up to our expectations. From the time we arrived, booking resturants, organising in house massages, cooking our very yummy breakfasts, nothing was too much trouble. The staff are amazing!!! This Villa is so spacious, the bathrooms are nearly as big as the bedrooms! Travelling with 8 adults this Villa is big enough to never feel you are on top of each other. My favourite place to chill out was in the gazebo/day bed area listening to the water fountains . The location is perfect and our safety was never an issue no matter what time we came home. We came home feeling relaxed and refreshed even though our holiday was jam pack I feel this was mainly due to the wonderful staff and this luxurious villa . We can not wait to go back !!

“Better than 5 Star!” To understand how nice this property is, I need to give some context. Prior to staying at Villa Pura Padi my family (6) and I had stayed on a 5 star luxury all Villa Resort in the most Southerly pint of Bali. I told the kids not to expect the Ubud accommodation to be anywhere near as good as the Villa we had stayed in previously. But it was better! Beautifully designed by a French interior designer, stunning uninterupted views from almost every window of the padi fields and temple. Every mod con you could ask for. Quality furnishings and artwork with high ceilings. Oh and the master bathroom - Stunning Tirta who lives next to the property could not have been more helpful. He drove my family around and even lent me his own bike so I could take off and explore.
