Heavenly House, spectacular beachfront in Watamu
"Heavenly"

It is a perfect name. Wonderful home to totally relax, you are completely taken care of once you enter the beautiful front doors. The rooms are spacious having different sitting areas where you can read, play cards, or have a little nap. The beach is one of the nicest, white velvety sand which the children love and great for sundowners, watching the sunset and the water rushing up on the sand. Then it is pool time again, here you could easily spend all day, has a lovely area for small children. We have been there many times and it is by far the children's favorite place, Beautiful home, wonderful pool, magnificent white velvet sand, we never want to leave. … see more

Beyond amazing house. Lovely beaches. Wonderful food and staff.

A huge thanks to the owner of the house, Paul, who helped us with a variety of last minute guest changes and other travel challenges. We stayed here for a bachelorette party, and while we may have stretched the house to the brim, it worked perfectly -- and was such a lovely backdrop for a celebration. The house staff -- Kingi, Sam and Josephat, were so lovely and hospitable. We had a fantastic time lounging at the near deserted beach, snorkeling and eating lovely, lovely seafood. … see more

Waterfront Villa-Mombasa North Coast-pool/staff
Lovely Villa - Incredible location

We stayed here for seven days, travelling as two families with two teenager each. The location is great, not far from all the beaches and attractions of Mombasa north coast (not very far from the airport as well), and providing wonderful views of the Mtwapa Creek - simply breathtaking. The staff kept the house well in order for us and the chef served us the most delicious seafood dishes. It was great to have the whole house and different areas for the adults and teenagers. It is beautifully decorated and really well appointed with all amenities you need like sunbeds, absolut fantastic pool, big gardens, nice bar in the living room, speedy WiFi, Sat TV with good sport channels and nice furnished bedrooms all with bathroom and with king size beds, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, small fridges and air con. I could've happily had another few days just relaxing there. … see more

Relaxed and beautiful few days in the most gorgeous setting!

We enjoyed 3 nights at Baobab House and loved every minute! The house is beautifully decorated with lots of cosy places to relax and unwind on a quiet stretch of the beach. The house staff were welcoming and took good care of us. We enjoyed the most delicious meals cooked for us by Chef Riziki, and went for late afternoon swims in the sea! Apendalo-House: Far reaching 360° views
Joyful stay !

We visited Lamu in September and had a great holiday. Apendalo House was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed to stay on the roof top terrace, nice views and a good breeze. The "natural air condition" works fantastic: by opening/closing windows and doors you adjust the breeze through the house. The wind finds its way into and out of the house. Perfect climate and fresh air guarantees a good sleep. Katana took good care of us and became a good friend, as he is very friendly and communicative. He arranged our very special dhow trip. We´ll remember for the rest of our lifes. We will come back to apendalo House hopefully next year. … see more
