“Homey, Cozy, and CLEAN!” This house was one of my all time favorite houses! We were so comfortable and cozy in this house. We made ourselves right at home (which isn't easy for me to do!). Unfortunately, we didn't have the best weather (rain!), but were able to go sledding one day and utilized the stables twice (Shannon was wonderful there! This was a fantastic added bonus for my 7 year old who rides!) I'd love to visit this home in the fall. The fire pit in the yard looked fantastic (it was snow and ice covered for us), and we would love to take advantage of the trail rides at the stables. The owner was extremely attentive...I asked a lot of questions and she never made me feel like it was a problem...and was very quick to respond! We will definitely be back! “Lovely!” I had a wonderful and relaxing stay here for a writing retreat. This place is so beautiful and peaceful. The cabin is lovely, large, clean, comfortable, and has everything I needed. The property is amazing - a real natural setting, quiet except the sound of the beautiful creek tumbling by. It's easy to walk around and discover the beauty of the place - and the pine trees provide welcome shade and cool air in the summertime! I particularly enjoyed the screened-in porch and the path down by the river where you can meander along and see the waterfalls, and a new dam some beavers are building. The owner and caretaker are very accommodating, open to suggestions and available if you need them. A great retreat from the city life!
