“A lovely welcome to a beautiful house” We were the lucky first guests at Bullace Barn. It's been decorated and kitted out to a high standard, beautiful furnishings, well equipped kitchen, comfortable and pretty bedrooms. There's a separate utility/boot room with washing machine, iron etc. We like to cook and the kitchen had pretty much everything we needed - there were a couple of suggestions we made to the owners eg a bigger frying pan, cafetiere, kitchen scales. But that was it. We were given a lovely welcome both by the owners and by their cats, who were quite keen to show us round the property ;-) There was a lovely welcome hamper on arrival with cake, cheese, bread, eggs. There's a fab little local shop about 10 mins up the road which is well stocked and also sells homemade pies and pasties. We liked best: cooking and eating together in the country style kitchen. The lovely view from the large window in the hall. Our visit to Yorkshire Sculpture Park. We liked least: the frustration of being in the upstairs lounge which is large and comfy but has no windows out on the lovely view.

“Peaceful and tranquil” Upon arrival we were greeted by the owners of the cottage, lovely people, they gave us a guided tour of the premises and left in the kitchen was a bottle of wine and chocolates, a lovely thought. The house was very comfortable, spacious, home from home, ideal for a large family, pets are welcomed with open arms. Linen provided in abundance, conservatory overlooks wonder views of the forest like setting, lots of ground to the property, all round a fabulous place for a holiday. The location is great as a starting place to explore Cornwall, if you don't mind walking, there is a nice walk down to the village shops, pub which serves very good food, supermarkets are but a short ride away. Restaurants, places to visit are easily reached from here, great as a base. The house is full of games for children, if you are a book worm, there are loads of books to read. The kitchen is well equipment, AGa stove takes a little getting use to if not used before, there is also a convensional cooker in the utility room, you couldn't want for anything else. The whole holiday was fantastic, the only minor dislike about the property is that the kitchen is a little on the dark side if the sun is shining into the conservatory, other than that there is nothing to be found fault with this property what so every, plus it is being extended to cater for even bigger families. Ground floor facilities would be ideal for someone who has difficulty with negotiating stairs, albeit not steep stairs, very slight climb. It also holds a small gym upstairs for those who are fitness freaks and miss their daily workout. You wouldn't wish for more.

“Value for money in the Welsh countryside” Friendly greeting from Farmer's wife next door. Property was ideal for large family group (3 generations from teenage to 60s). Lots of bathrooms and different areas. Very popular was the hot tub and games room. Farmer drove us up the local Mountain and we walked back down. It may be too remote for some but was ideal for us

“Wonderful week-end !” I've decided to invite all my friends to celebrate my 30th anniversary and I found this Mas. Everything was perfect, from beginning to the end, the house was great, lots of space, everything was available, clean. We were around 20 people and we never felt overcrowded, it was the opposite. It was really nice. We just focus on having fun all the week-end ! The owner is really nice and let us feel at home straight from the beginning. Wonderful week-end ! We will come back !

“The perfect break from a busy world!” The house has the best views we have seen. The house is incredibly comfortable and furnished beautifully. The bedrooms and bathrooms are amazing and everyone just slotted in perfectly. The tennis court is a real bonus in the autumn when it is a little too chilly for swimming. “Absolutely amazing apt., all renovated, totally stocked & no detail forgotten” Wow, wow, wow. Great location with cafes and shops right out the door on beautiful place Gracia and metro just across the street. Brand new furniture, beds and everything you could need in the kitchen (not that we cooked-but you certainly could!) Showers were enormous with great water pressure even when all three were in use. Super soft towels and fluffy robes were placed for all 4 grownups. The owner stocked the kitchen like a 5 star hotel with nespresso pods, coffee creamers, jam, biscuits, tea, coke, beer, water and beautiful welcome treats. Both bedrooms are more than "masters" - perfect for 2 couples traveling with kids or grandparents, extended family etc.-no one feels like they're getting the less nice room. There are automatic shutters that make it so dark, you have to set an alarm or risk sleeping really late. Even though its right on Gracia and it can be a little loud if the windows are open, it it totally quite with the double paned windows. There's also AC in every room that can be individually controlled. There are bluetooth music speakers so you can have music from your phone and state of the art electricity system where you hit one button when you walk out the door and it shuts all the lights out. The two kids bedrooms are quite tight (two twin beds each in a perpendicular arrangement) and no place to hang clothes but had drawer space so it worked fine for us. I can't emphasize enough how everything is just perfect and very high end. The owner was extremely enthusiastic, helpful and responsive to any questions and delighted in showing us all the details. The only downside was the booking process was a bit convoluted with various agencies/contacts and a very inconvenient payment process (other than the initial payment by CC which was great). Since we were the first guests to stay here I believe they will sort the payment process out and add a welcome manual with local grocery, restaurant recommendations, etc. which will make it even more perfect. I am a VRBO owner and am very picky about every detail and I just can't describe what a wonderful experience this was. The owner also had brochures for all the sights, art books, guide books, umbrellas, safety waist packs, first aid kit, beautiful bathroom lotions, cottons pads, and the list goes on. I would definitely recommend this unparalleled property.

“A wonderful silver wedding weekend for us” We stayed with my husband's 2 daughters, their partners and 6 year old granddaughter, and we were made very welcome. The place is lovely, with comfortable rooms and beautiful gardens, and the warm sunny weather made it perfect. The breakfast choices (my husband and I were in a B&B; room and the others in the cottage) were excellent. Maddie loved the animals and the play facilities and we all felt very relaxed. We appreciated the extras like fruit and biscuits. And Bradford upon avon is certainly worth a visit.
