“out of this world if you want the real egypian holiday this is t” we wanted a holiday that we could say wow well we got it, if you want to see the real Luxor this is the place to stay, Freda & Edward are the perfect propritors, they organised a personal guide extra cost but well worth all the knowledge one gains. I would never go on a package holiday again. Also the info we hear about the troubles in cairo are none existant in luxor, it is the media blowing everything out of proportion. We are going back next year as 1 week was not long enough, and we never ate english food all the time we were their without any tummy troubles. I do hope you go and experience what we did. Awesome apartment

We really loved this holiday We didn't know a lot about El Gouna and this visit changed our view forever...we'll definitely be coming back! We are from Greece, it was a real "summer beach" holiday for us, and during the middle of the Egyptian winter Katherin the landlord was great, so hospitable, responsive, equipped us with lots of local knowledge on what to do / where to go, she even left some food and drinks for us on arrival, which was appreciated after our flight The apartment was excellent, huge sun-drenched balcony, modern, clean, comfortable, quiet, short walk from restaurants / cafes / shops / swimming areas / kite surfing area...beautiful summer holiday apartment for our family! It was awesome to be so close to so many different types of beach areas, restaurants, and with the local tips from our landlord, it was a super cheap holiday too ;) We loved this apartment and completey recommend it Nikos and family … see more

A dream Egyptian experience lived close up.

Our ideal holiday is where we stay amongst the local culture, for good and bad. An "England with sun all inclusive luxury hotel experience" is not for us. So we were sceptical about the online pictures of the flat. Surely this must be a mainstream hotel in the tourist part of town? We needn't have worried! The flat is cleverly tucked up and away on the edge of Luxor old town, amongst Egyptian families, businesses and street traders. Occasionally street noise can be heard, but it never disturbs. It opens directly into the main street. 1min walk away are the Tourist and Egyptian souks. Taxis, Kalesh and buses pass outside. Temple/museum sites in Luxor are a few minutes lazy walk away or a few pence ride if you need it even lazier. 5mins walk the other way is the Rail Station and modern shopping. It's a perfect location. Edward's and Freda's aim is to match hotel standards but I think they sell themselves short. In terms of relaxed comfort their service is better. All mod cons of course, good kitchen, no "extras" to add, ample breakfast served on the roof terrace, but best of all, Edward and Freda themselves to help getting used to day to day Egyptian life. Effectively we had our own very experienced guides, on call whenever required, a service worth it's weight in gold. We planned to make our own way to the sites but, thankfully, we asked them. Without charge they set up trips for us through a local agent, saving us money and lots of awkward hassle. We visited Karnak, The Valley Of The Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and took felucca and balloon rides. Our holiday became so much more simply by their knowing the area and people so well. To round off, in usual review terms everything was honestly and accurately described, clean and well maintained, with wonderful hosts. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending the property to anyone looking for an "in the culture" experience. We have some great holidays but both feel this one was really special. LUXURY 3BD VILLA (9B) PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL
Totally stress free break.

This was our first visit to Sharm so knew nothing about the area or the practicalities of self catering in a place where everyone seems to go all inclusive. We were met at the airport by armands (the property manager.) who immediately put us at ease by dealing with the taxi drivers and security on the complex.He let us into the apartment which was very modern and clean,there was water,milk,tea,coffee and fruit awaiting us. The apartment is very comfortable,mattresses especially,we all slept really well.It's in a great location, yards from the pool and 200 mtrs from the beach from which there is brilliant snorkelling,i was there most days swimming with rays,octopus and beautiful fish.It is also close to the supermarket and some great restaurants. We had 2 lovely meals at "Peking" (Chinese.) fantastic steaks at "Three Crowns" and our favourite was "Virus", not a great name for a restaurant i know but as good as any Indian we have tasted and we've tried a lot.There is also "KFC","Mcdonalds", "Burger King","TGI Fridays" and "Hard Rock Cafe" within 15 mins walk. We used the little blue buses to get around, they are really cheap and less haggling than the Taxis.£1 Egyptian pound (10p english) anywhere in Nabq and £3 Egyptian to Naama (30p english)though they may try and get more, just be firm.We also got the free bus to Soho Square one night which was great. To finish i must tell you about armands. He is a master of hospitality ! There when you want him and not when you don't.Nothing is to much trouble for him. Although it was late when we landed he walked to the supermarket with us and gave us a tour of the area.He organised the bus to Soho and got a very good exchange rate for us. He also gave us lots of advice on how much to pay for things and where to eat.He is an attribute to the whole experience of booking this apartment.
