“Brooks and shorey were so nice and made everything easy” We had a great time staying at Emerald Towers West. Everything we needed was there. Very clean and well stocked. I will be going through Brooks and Shorey again in the future. I've rented from individuals before and some have been very hateful to us in the past. This was a most pleasant experience. “beautiful beach/condo!” Everything was as pictured....beautiful! We enjoyed our stay; the unusual thing was that the smoke alarm woke us @2:15am. We found nothing wrong, apparently it was only our unit. Reported to the front desk the next day and was offered to have batteries changed. Please have checked to avoid additional issue.

“Wonderful location, wonderful condo” We (6 adults) spent Labor Day weekend on Okaloosa Island. After doing a lot of research online, I finally found this location. Condo 401 is great! “Wonderful vacation” The location of this property is great. The view from the balcony is awesome. The beach service is great especially not having to set up a tent each day - love the umbrella and chair service. The condo was nice but the bedroom furniture could use a little updating-possibly some new mattresses. Overall, our vacation was wonderful and relaxing.

“Johnson Beach Vacation 2013” Very nice pleasant condo to stay at. The one glitch was the refrigerator was not working when we got there. They did get it fix the next afternoon but we went a whole day and night without one. The rest of the stay was perfect.

“Comfortable Stay” Delightful two bedroom two bath condo on the beach. We were quite pleased and would be happy to rent this one again. Only problem--light outside entry door was out, either bulb burned out or light broken. It was scary to approach door at night!

“It was okay” The people who stayed in the condo above us were super loud, even after we called management, they were just ridiculously loud. Didn't like that you have to drive down the street to rent the DVD's that are included with the stay, to offer free DVD rental would mean the DVD kiosk is in your Hotel. The room had barely enough plates and bowls for the amount of people allowed to stay in the room, not enough cups. You literally have to was dishes everyday.

“Relaxation, peaceful and beautiful ocean views.” This was the first time I have ever stayed in Florida for spring break. I heard of this rental through a friend. The condo was comfortable, warm and inviting. The location was perfect to restaurants, tourist attractions and shopping. Not to mention, right on the ocean for beautiful views off your balcony while sipping your morning coffee or taking in the beautiful sunset. The heated pool was a bonus for the kids and the short walk to the beautiful sandy beaches was perfect! This was a wonderful rental with a ton of space and all that you could ask for when staying away from home. :)

“Repeat customer” This was our second time and just like the first time,it was flawless. From the on line reservation to check out,everything worked like a charm. We were running a little late due to traffic jam and I called ahead to let them know and when we got to the office they were still there and took us less than 2 minutes to check in. “Beds” I was pleased with the room until we had to take the sheets of when leaving and a fresh blood spot on matress cover, that tells me it was not washed before my arrival, I am very picky where I sleep, who knows what blood I slept on or what diseases it could carry, to make it worse it was around the face area. Also it stated no pets allowed, however a gentleman had a dog coming from the 3rd floor and one of the workers past by him and didnt say a word. Other than that it was ok

“Pleased!” Great condo. Great vacation. When we first arrived the water wasn't very hot, called Brooks, and Shorey office and it was fixed pronto. Not enough beach service umbrellas set up on one day, called, more set up in less than 30 mins. The only complaint would have been the bed. It is way too wobbly. If you are bringing refrigerated goods put something in early and wait to buy groceries until later or the next day. Takes most of the day (12+ hours) to get to temp. Slow elevator. Convenient cart for getting your luggage up. Condo was clean. Kitchen well supplied. Really this would be a picky review, we were very pleased with the condo with the exception of the bed. Beach was great, location great.

“nice” condo was very nice we had lots of room for everyone. the washer and dryer being in the bedroom was odd. the cleaning ladies need to check all bathroom drawers we found tobacco poured out in one to the bathrooms drawers that should have been cleaned up a few dishes that was not clean and put in the cabinet but our overall stay was great.We will be back

“Great Accommodations!” Booked a last minute extended weekend in Fort Walton Beach. Was a little worried, as I usually plan these things months in advance. This was my first time using Brooks & Shorey and my first stay at Gulf Dunes. Very pleased with the entire experience from start to finish. The management personnel was on-site, so I didn't have to roam around looking for their office. The lady who checked me in could not have been more helpful! She explained everything to me in detail and even provided me with directions to local markets. The condo was extremely clean, affordable and beachfront - which was the best part! Unfortunately, mother nature did not cooperate, but it was still nice to get away! The amenities were awesome ... free umbrella/chair set up (which usually costs about $25 a day, free movie rental, golf, etc. I am already thinking about when I can get back to the beach, and would recommend Gulf Dunes to anyone looking for a place to vacation in Fort Walton!
