“Awesome Location” The location of this Condo was awesome! We were on the first floor with the pool steps from the front door. The beach was also in walking distance! Wasnt crowded at all! The condo was clean and nice, nothing too fancy! Destin was a 10 min drive away with things to do for the kids! Rick with SkyVentures was a pleasure dealing with. 2 of our guest wasnt able to make it due to Hurricain Harvey and they agreed to refund our extra guest fee without charging us the fee for changing our booking which was generous! Definatly will be back. :)

“Spring Break” Beautiful View, Overall a good rental, has some wear but it is a vacation home. The amenties were great. The only issue we had was the bedding in one of the rooms needs replaced. Also the bunk room showed a tv and there wasn't one. I loved the place however it is slightly overpriced. Great vacation though.

“Spectacular Views, Wonderful Condo” The property and location were great. I liked that the property was a walk down to the beach and had a good size swimming pool. The condo's balcony overlooked the ocean which was breathtaking. The property was only minutes from the grocery store and about 10 minutes from Destin Harborwalk.

“Brooks Shorey= five stars, condo mattresses =1 star” We planned our vacation well in advance and then the oil spill happened. The Management was great handling the situation. We had beautiful weather and were glad we made this trip to the Gulf. The building itself was well maintained but the mattresses and bedding in Unit 604 are in great need of replacement.

“Beach 2013” Staff was great; especially Mary Ann. She went above and beyond during reservation process and while on site. Only issue with unit is that all mattresses need to be replaced. Will be back next year!

“Wonderful week!!!!” We had a GREAT vacation this past week at The Islander (unit 4006. The condo is super nice and the view from the balcony is AMAZING! The only bad experience we had in the condo is the washer and dryer. These were not upgraded along with the rest of the appliances in the condo. It ruined 2 bathing suits, a couple of shirts and put burn marks on several pairs of shorts... Lesson learned on dryer and the rest of the stay was uneventful. We will be back for sure!

“Not favorite unit” This was not our favorite unit in this complex. We have stayed at Emerald Towers West almost annually over the the last few years and preferred all the other units to this one. Everything was okay, but we like other units better. Our air conditioner went out, but was replaced immediately. The flooring needs to be updated, and all the units would be better with heavier, light-blocking drapes on the bedroom windows that face the parking area. As always, all the staff were nice and professional and responded to our requests quickly and efficiently. The beach service is always a nice bonus and the young men who serve the Emerald Towers West area are courteous and always friendly and helpful.

“It was okay” The people who stayed in the condo above us were super loud, even after we called management, they were just ridiculously loud. Didn't like that you have to drive down the street to rent the DVD's that are included with the stay, to offer free DVD rental would mean the DVD kiosk is in your Hotel. The room had barely enough plates and bowls for the amount of people allowed to stay in the room, not enough cups. You literally have to was dishes everyday.

“Adorable Condo! Great view! Perfect family vacation!” We stayed here at the end of July and our only complaint was the really gross water. Usually the water is gorgeous but with all the storms in July it was dark, murky and full of seaweed. But the unit was gorgeous and clean and absolutely charming. We could hear people on either side of us when they would run up and down their condos which got annoying but you can't expect total quiet in the summer at the beach. ;) The washing machine got pretty loud during its spin cycle so we tried to only use that during the day so we wouldn't disturb our neighbors. But everything was great and we'd definitely rent this unit again! :)

“Relaxation perfection!” Great beachfront condo overlooking the pool in small building with covered parking for 1 car. Lovely furniture on the balcony, the bistro chairs allowed great views of the beach. This small condo was perfect for 4 of us enjoying some relaxation time. More wine glasses would have been nice, there were some small tumblers that sufficed, but I think that more than 2 wine glasses in a condo for 6 could be expected! Plenty of tea/coffee mugs though!!!! Pool was nice, stayed on the beach mostly. Enjoyed our stay very much.

“Nana and Pops with 2 of our grandsons” Overall wonderful time. Condo does need some sprucing up, as in carpet cleaning, and sliding doors to balcony are getting in bad shape, but had a blast and would definitely return in the future!

“A Short Stay” The front desk clerk could not have been nicer. Very professional and helpful with a sense of humor. The condo was clean except the carpet was badly stained. All else was perfect. Weather and beach was awesome. Saw dolphins jump completely out of the water, just like in the shows! Really neat! Planning another trip soon.
