“The Antique Rose was perfect for the three of us, historic yet very comfortable.” We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly rent this home again. The property is just outside of town on a quiet street. The home was built around 1903, and has been updated without losing its beauty and charm. The front porch is very large and inviting, the two bedrooms well appointed and not overdone, and the whole house just feels comfortable and allows one to feel at home. We just loved the fact that the home had a Victorian feel without the inconvenience of homes of that era. Our daughter thought her room was great.

“The arc” My wife and I were very impressed with this place ! It is far enough out of town yet it is only about a 5 - 10minute drive. Depends on how slow you travel to soak in the scenery on the way. I am the Vice President of a commercial masonry company in SanAntonio so wherever I go, I always look at architecture and attention to quality workmanship. Let me tell you that whoever worked on this place did an excellent job. Lots of reclaimed material and new material distressed made to look old. The way this cabin is decorated makes you feel like you're at home or the ranch right as you open the door. Lots of personal touches like his and her robes to throw on out of the shower or the hot tub out back. I could go on and on but I might start sounding like I'm trying to list it ! We would most definitely stay here again and of course recommend it to any couple looking for a great stay.

“Great rental!” Very clean and equipped for a comfortable and convenient stay. Easy to get to and just a short walk to all the Main Street attractions. We would definitely stay here again!

“Stay here!!!” This is a great cabin! We had a girls weekend, spent 2 nights here and 2 nights in a fancy hotel/B&B; in Gruene and this place was by far our favorite! It is so quiet and peaceful, way down a country dirt road in a beautiful field. We were so impressed. It has a claw foot tub in the bathroom that overlooks an awesome country view if you leave the door open. Will definitely stay again!

“Get Away” This place is great! It is spacious for a small cottage. Its far enough away from town to be in the country but close enough to run to the store or go have lunch. The owner left some great goodies for us to munch on. The chocolate heart shape cake was yummy. The breakfast was good as well. I love the fresh flowers that were placed around the cottage. My husband and I are thinking of building something like this. We were excited about the Jacuzzi but the jets were not working this time which was a bummer, so we just relaxed in the tub. My husband had a knee injury the week before our trip so we were not able to hike or walk around much so we just cooked out a couple of time, ran into town for lunch or things from the store and laid around watching tv as well as sat on the front porch in the nice breeze. The TV could be little bigger it was really hard to see from the couch. But all in all it was a great stay.
