A wonderful cabin in the woods

I celebrated my 40th birthday here with friends. Directions were very clear and we found the cabin easily. We arrived earlier than planned and they allowed us to check in early. The gate code wouldn't work for me or my guests but the attendant answered immediately every time we pressed the button and they let us in. It was clean and as pictured on the website. It was a little more outdated than other cabins I've been to but not a big deal. We did have to wait for the hot tub to heat up as it had been cleaned but it was ok because we didn't plan on getting in right away. The fireplaces were awesome. We mostly used the one on the patio. I had bought firewood but there were plenty of branches and logs laying around to make do. The grill worked perfectly. All the dishes and utensils were provided. The pots and pans were decent. There were no trash bags provided besides the one that lined the kitchen trashcan so I had to buy some from dollar general which is right down the street. There was some loose trash in the main bins when we arrived, I guess because there were no trash bags. They had some games in the closet but many were missing pieces or incomplete. There was a dart board but no darts. The foosball table was playable but the handles come off on one side, they had cornhole boards and we played. Most of the bags were busted but it worked out. We weren't able to figure out how to change the radio station to get the music to play on the surround sound but luckily we brought bluetooth speakers. Overall we had an amazing time. There is plenty of space and everything you need is right there at the cabin. Tina was very helpful in anything that I needed. She even brought the amenity card by because it wasn't left inside for us. We explored the area so we never even used the amenity card. I would definitely recommend and I will return … see more

Secluded Bliss

My wife and I absolutely loved this cabin! The location was perfect for a romantic getaway. We may have enjoyed sitting on the back porch swing more than anything else! Hot tub was wonderful and the kitchen had everything we needed. The proximity to downtown Ellijay, GA was just right. The owner was great to work with and very prompt to answer questions we had. The cabin is not for a family with small children. Also the downstairs does not get a lot of heat. Didn't bother me but might affect others. The drive in is nice listening to the steam.
