We all were totally impressed with such a beautiful vacation home!

This mountain home was exactly what we were looking for....beautiful home, plenty of room for all of us, and amazing views. There was so much to do in the area, we had a hard time deciding which adventures we wanted to have in the time we had. The deck became our favorite gathering place in the mornings with our coffee, and at night with the stars and moon. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone, and would love to return again. The only disappointment was that there were no cords to make a connection on the terrace level in order to watch family movies. Hopefully it was ok to take the DVD from the queen bedroom on the terrace level, and connect it to the T.V. on the main level. All in all, our stay was perfect. … see more

Valley Creekside Cottage

AWESOME!

This place is absolutely amazing! I LOVED the layout of the cottage & the decor. We took our dog Tucker & had to walk him several times around the grounds both day & night. Can't let him run free because he will pull a Forrest Gump & keep runnin' & runnin'! We had visitors every evening & some mornings - 4 deer & 3 rabbits, so poor Tucker stayed on the leash. I found it fortunate to have to walk him though. It allowed me to take in all the surroundings & "feel" the history in the valley. It "welcomes" you if you're into that sort of thing. The creek is right outside the back deck & you can take the red chairs out there & sit in the COOL water. THAT WAS WONDERFUL! LOL! It was 90-95 degrees while we were there! Then there was the fortuitous PUMPKIN! It was a lot of fun sending pictures to Terri! Prettiest pumpkin I've ever seen! Even though we didn't get to meet in person, Terri was a most gracious hostess! Peace in the Mountains

This hidden treasure was just what we needed for our Fall Break. It was exactly as described on the website. Sammy has thought of everything. He remembered all of the things we forgot! We visited Baby Land General, B.J. Reese Apple Orchards, and of course, Burt's Pumpkin Farm where we picked out our annual "BIG" pumpkin.
