“7/2013 Weekend Stay” We had a great stay at Creek Bend Escape in late July. Being by the creek was fantastic and you can't get much better for accessibility to rafting on the Ocoee. I really appreciated the previous comments on the property, which were honest about the few drawbacks and we were prepared (i.e. spiral staircase is pretty steep and the driveway is gravel, the access to the creek is steep). Overall, the house was well-kept, and very clean. Thanks for a great mini-vacation!

“We will be back!” We so enjoyed our stay at this lakefront cabin for the last two weeks of May, and were grateful we were able to bring our fur-kid, Daisy. She enjoyed swimming, fetching, and dock diving in the lake almost as much as we enjoyed watching her! So quiet and peaceful here, with a beautiful view of the lake from the front wall of windows. Comfy furniture, well-equipped kitchen, nice large deck, easy access to town - it was all we wanted and needed for our vacation. The weather was perfect for most of our stay, which we spent out on the deck or down by the water with friends we were visiting (they live in Murphy), and we were amazed so few people were out enjoying it on a long holiday weekend - we had the lake to ourselves much of the time! Phyllis and Pete were great hosts, and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. We will definitely stay here again during our next trip to Murphy.

“Great time in the mountains.” We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was close to the activities we had planned for our family trip and far enough away from the city to feel secluded. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable.

“First real family vacation” The cabin is beautiful, very inviting and homely. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Had fun in the game room/basement. Close to North Carolina/Georgia border so you can visit either state. Scenery is beautiful and very quite. Even got a visit from the neighborhood dog, owner leaves dog biscuits in the cabinet for you to give him. Neighbors are friendly but don't come knocking. Just an all round great place!

“My family enjoyed your beautiful cabin.” The service was great! Whenever we had questions the owner responded very quickly and was accessible our entire stay. The cabin was beautiful and kid friendly, the kid's domain with all the bunks beds was a great idea. The layout was perfect for our family. We have stayed in quite a few cabins, and this particular cabin suited the needs for our entire family. Love the view from every room. The bedding was so cozy, fresh, and clean. Just a reminder for house cleaning, check the ovens each time, the bottom of the oven had grease in it. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and our entire family enjoyed our stay. We will definitely come back and stay at this cabin.

“Girls Trip” This cabin is absolutely gorgeous. The owners have thought of everything that you might need for a nice getaway. The cabin was beautifully decorated, very clean, which made us feel right at home. The view from the deck outside the kitchen is stunning. When booking this trip the owners were more than helpful for anything that I needed, I loved working with them. We will definitely be back!! The fire pit set up was very beautiful, as we truly enjoyed sitting around the fire at night and bring able to swing and talk with one another. The hot tub area was another area that we truly enjoyed. The hot tub is very clean which made us feel so comfortable when relaxing in it. The cabin is in a perfect location as you are not far from horseback riding, beautiful hiking trails, downtown Blue Ridge and the orchards. I would absolutely recommend this cabin for anybody looking for a getaway of any sorts!!! The pictures were morning view from the deck!!
