“Loved our stay at the Summit” The Summit is a great get away. It is very private, being at the to of the mountain. The house is beautiful and very clean. It has everything that you need to make your stay pleasant. Everything in the house works. This was our second trip to the house. The owners are great people and a pleasure to work with. We have already rented for our next stay from the same people and will continue to do so as long as we need to rent a cabin.

“Perfect pet-friendly cabin with style and a view!” Location is great. Easy to find and get to. Few minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Has all the accomodations for a perfect, relaxing weekend. Spectacular view of the mountains from the front door/inside the cabin/on the deck. Hot tub worked wonders for relaxing and recuperating. Enough room for a small family, two couples, or just the two of you. Liz is a friendly owner.

“Masterpeace Cottage” The cabin was lovely. We stayed there for four nights. Unfortunately, we had lots of rain and fog, thus impacting the excursions we wanted to take. In the brief periods of good weather, we got some lovely photos of the mountains. We do recommend the cottage itself.

“Best Birthday Trip EVER!!” My friends and I stayed at this cabin for my birthday this past winter and it was a blast. The place had so much personality to it that it really felt like home or the home of a relative. The only thing we had to bring was the food and beverages. We enjoyed the hot tub and even took a dip in the freezing cold river the first night we were there. We cozied up by the fire both inside and outside while we were there. We didn't do much fishing but we should have with all the fish we saw darting around in the water located just steps away from the cabin. The night skies were amazing to look at while we relaxed in the hot tub or some of us sat around the camp fire telling laughing and telling stories. This will definitely go down as one of my most memorable birthdays and I look forward to coming back again soon for a one of a kind experience!!!

“Perfect getaway cabin...far enough in the woods but yet not to far from things.” We had a great experience right from the start! Even though we booked late, Charlie was able to accommodate us for the nights we needed. He even called (very promptly) to answer a couple of questions I had. His cabin really is a comfortable home. I love the way it's decorated...lots of very cool and interesting things to look at. We really enjoyed sitting on the back porch eating and enjoying the waterfall in the back yard. Even though you feel like you're in the woods, it's a short drive to a couple of restaurants and just a bit longer to Blue Ridge where there are lots of things to do and places to eat. Absolutely everyone we came in contact with up they was sooooo friendly;very refreshing. There are also lots of hiking opportunities in the area. We had a wonderfully peaceful, relaxing time at Big Bear and would absolutely recommend it to others!!!!
