“Very convenient for Bahá'í pilgrimage” Apartment is fine - clean, has everything you need, but the best thing about it is that it's a 2 minute walk to the the Bahá'í gardens, the pilgrim's reception center, the Shrines. That means you can walk over to the Shrines in a moment when there's extra time during your pilgrimage and its also a short walk to arrive at the talks in the evenings ... all just a very short walk away. I think if I had stayed farther away, I wouldn't have had as much time in the Shrines as I did, and that's worth a lot.

“Wonderful B&B; base for day trips” Great location, personal touches make you feel right at home. We stayed at Holiday House for 3 days, taking day trips to Sea of Galilee, Caesaria, Nazareth. The House is lovely and you can sit outside to enjoy your morning cafe. Zichron Ya'akov is a beautiful little town, don't miss Nilis for breakfast!

A WONDERFUL APARTMENT AND WONDERFUL OWNER!!!!!!!

I traveled from the United States to Haifa, Israel for my Baha'i Pilgrimage on Mount Carmel. The Mountain Home Guest House Apartment was recommended to me by another Traveler who stayed in these accommodations. It is a wonderful location and a wonderful fully furnished apartment which was very convenient to other locations in walking distance. The Owner is very professional and very accomodating to Customers. I strongly recommed the Mountain Home Guest House facilities for your lodging convenience while in Haifa, Israel. And I especially recommend that all Baha'i Visitors and Pilgrims traveling in to Haifa for their religious journey please contact the Owner (Ms Ana Netzer-shay) at 972-0-4-833-3674 - http://www.stellamaris-guesthouse.com. Magnificant Studio Sea View in Zichron Yaakov

Dr. Ilan Palgi (owner of property) is a wonderful and hospitable person . The studio apartment was located in a quiet and lovely street, hidden away. The studio itself was very spacious, comfortable, and my children and myself had the most comfortable, very clean and enjoyable stay. Above the sea B&B Ein Hod
Nice b & b at a charming location

We had expected a detached bungalow but instead found the site to be one of 2 units built into the ground floor of the owner's home built on a hillside of Ein Hod overlooking the Mediterranean a few kilometers to the West. Parking was good, the unit was quite reasonably clean and in good, but not exceptional, condition. The hostess was accomodating and accepted our reservation without deposit. The queen bed was comfortable, the room was very large with big jacuzzi/shower combo. I don't much care about jacuzzi, but there was ample hot water. A mini kitchen and fridge were supplied, and the hostess provided some fruit, chocolates, and a nice bottle of wine. Ein Hod is a great location for a few days. The village is essentially a collection of old restored homes housing many artists and galleries. There are a few nice restaurants, and coffee shops, and there is quick access to Haifa and the lower Galilee. Our only problem was with check in. Ein Hod restricts auto access to it's residents...a good thing... with electronically controlled gates at the entry points. Our plan was to telephone the hostess as we approached the gate, and have her open it remotely. However, she was having telephone trouble, and we had to more or less sneak in behind another car and guess which house was hers. Fortunately, I have a working knowlege of Hebrew language, and we got lucky...found it on the first try. Check out was fine, no hidden charges, no hassles, and the whole experience was agreeable. Not cheap, but I reccommend this rental as a much better experience than a comparably priced hotel in Haifa. … see more

Comfortable and quiet location slightly away from the center

Our family of 4 (2 kids ages 11 and 13) had a very pleasant stay. We appreciated having our own bedroom for the adults and the kids each had a twin bed in the living area. Kate was helpful in directing us to local activities, most especially in how to navigate the local nature park and gardens. The center of Zichron was a short drive away (or a long walk), but we never had trouble finding parking in the center. There is a large grocery store located near the center that met all of our needs. Access to the highway was also easy to make day trips in the area. Kate provides use of the backyard and there is a small table outside the apartment to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. The kitchen had everything we needed for simple breakfast and dinners (we ate lunch out). Kate had a nice bowl of fruit and snacks waiting, along with milk in the fridge upon our arrival. Kate does have two large dogs that roam in the yard and on the porch, but they are incredibly sweet and friendly and even our animal adverse son was comfortable around them. There is good wifi in the apartment and our kids found plenty of options on the cable TV. We felt this was a very good value for the money … see more

Great apartment

Our family of four stayed at this apartment for one week and had a great experience! The apartment is really modern, well furnished, very bright and spacious, with an incredible, sweeping view of the Mediterranean. It is located just a few blocks to the beach, so we were able to go running along the water every day on a really nice running path. The pictures are a very accurate representation of the apartment!
