“Great experience” I stayed in villa #4. It was a really nice place to stay. Only had a couple of minor issues. The people who stayed before left dirty dishes in the dishwasher which I cleaned and put away so I wouldn't be charged, the beds were pushed against the wall, and the people in villa #3 who checked in on Sunday were rude. It was a clean and cozy place to stay over all. Its very close to the beach and just minutes from any shopping or attractions to suit anyone's needs or wants. This was our family's first stay at the beach and it was excellent.

“Peaceful” The unit we stayed in was very clean. Our unit favorite was the balcony swing. It was nice to sit on in the evenings, in the shade, and listen to the ocean sounds. We enjoyed walks in the evening at Fort Fisher. My personal highlight of the stay was seeing dolphins the first early morning of our stay. The restaurants are nearby and so is a grocery store called Food Lion. We enjoyed visiting nearby towns of Wilmington and Southpoint. You can find even more good eats and quaint local shopping there. I would have given 5 stars but we were disappointed that we couldn't see the entire beach from the balcony due to the setback of the building behind two other buildings. The ocean is directly in front of the unit but the view is obscured due to the two buildings on either side. Also, the workout center was closed due to construction the entire stay. The unit could also use an updated microwave. The owners are very easy to work with and good at communication.

“Outstanding” The condo was perfect, the view was magnificent, the pool lounge chairs were great...the set up was perfect for us..the Lazy Pirate and The Deck were delicious, as well as Hang Ten Grill and of course you can't beat Pops Diner's hotdogs all the way.Will definitely be back! The décor in the condo was very inviting and our favorite was the canvas wave pic over the dining room table. beds slept great and watching sun rise in the morning was a vacation in itself.. Thank you!!

“Very clean and everything worked” It's located in a vey nice area. We stayed from Sunday to Sunday and we'd definitely stay again. Very clean and comfortable. The wifi is a little slow but overall, we weren't in the room most of the week anyway. I'd definitely stay again

“Making memories” We had a great time in Pawleys at your beach house! It was so convenient for our family(including two children) to go back and forth to the beach. “A Classy Vacation Experience in any Season” My brother, who has problems walking, and I stayed at Sunnybank for a little under a week in the early spring when the Corolla horses are foaling. The layout of the well-appointed, three-storey main building was perfect for our needs: the fabulous view from the top floor living room provided the inspiration for him to walk up the grand stair case, and he could take the elevator when he was having problems walking. (There are two bedrooms with walk-in showers to accommodate people who have a problem walking.) It rained the first two days, which might have been gloomy any where else, but the library of videos, and stashes of games and playing cards gave us the opportunity to connect in ways that we hadn't since we were children. The fabulous cook's kitchen and multiple eating areas can accommodate a wedding party, family reunion, or any get away time one might want. Mine was a working vacation and the office there, which is outfitted with excellent Ethernet and WiFi connections plus a daybed for napping, was a better arrangement than my office at home. Comfort and casual, yet classy ambience abounds at Sunnybank. An excellent find!

“Fabulous” This was our second time staying at apex. The view of the beach is perfect and the house meets all our needs. We had a wonderful vacation and really enjoyed staying in the house. Only suggestion would be to nail down some of the boards on the deck for safety purposes.

“Great Spot!” Angelfish was a great place for a winter get-away with our dog, Bunker. Deck is very large-dog friendly. With few restaurants open, we had no problem fixing meals in the well-equipped kitchen. Beach access is good, too, with lots of shells within just a few blocks. Would certainly stay here again. Tried to book for a week in april but it was taken. Very nice place in a nice part of the beach.

“great layout and location” This house has a great layout for small children (all on one level). oceanfront and very close to water. only minuses are that the kitchen is a little old and the a/c vents really need to be cleaned. beach was not busy in sept and house isn't far from downtown emerald isle. i'd come and stay again.

“Pebble Beach Oceanview condo” This condo is great for 2 couples and a couple kids. The beds, linens, towels were all a good quality and super comfortable. Equipped with everything except for a gabage disposal and adequate seating on the patio. :) Easy access to the beach and 2 pools was really great for the kids. Fishbar 58 was a really cute seafood restaurant my family enjoyed.

“A Beautiful and Relaxing Escape” The house was lovely and clean and was so open and filled with light! The covered porch and deck were fully furnished and provided a "bridge" between the house and the beach. The gift we received as we entered the house was a real surprise and much appreciated. I would say that this is the nicest rental property we have leased!

“Well stocked home with easy beach access” We love that Grandpa can surf fish and we can stay on the deck or house and assist him if needed--the rest of us are not fishermen. We love the area of Emerald Isle, the beach size etc. and easy access to the shopping center. Some of our party like to walk to the Point during our stay. The house is well stocked and we like the linen service so we don't have to pack those, too. Shorewood office personnel are great! A big thanks to our "savior" when we were locked out. A restful beautiful week was enjoyed by all, after several cool days at the beginnjng of the week. Grandpa didn't catch any fish for the first year. Disappointing but Islanders said the water was murky and the fish don't like that--from the previous rains.
