“Worth It!!!” Our family stayed at Westgate Lakes for one week during Spring Break. We had a four bedroom condo and the space was fabulous!!! We were more than impressed with the resort staff and all the ammenities. The location was also very excellent and so easy to find and so close to the attractions we wanted to visited. The resort was very clean in all areas and very safe and secure for our family.

“Everything we could have wished for and more!!” Just back from a two week stay here. Condo looks exactly as it does in the photos, stunning! We have been to Orlando many times, however this is by far the best condo we have ever stayed in. Everything went really smoothly, from booking, paying and getting all the necessary information required. The location is excellent, close to parks and the pool was great also. We had decided to take it "easy" this time round in Orlando and having such a beautiful place to stay in was wonderful. Great to sit outside on the porch in the evening watching various fireworks and enjoying the evening sun. The condo was also well equipped and felt really at home here. Would recommend and hopefully will return soon.

“Superb orlando villa - fantastic family home away from home” This was our first ever booking with HomeAway/VRBO and we were immediately drawn by the description, photos and other reviews on the site for Lakeview House. We decided to go for it (a family of 3 adults, 2 children) and the booking process was seamless - Derek, the owner, was in constant touch and with very useful information ahead of arrival. Although our flight from the UK had a bit of a glitch (meaning we arrived in the dead of night) we found the place without issue. There is always a nagging doubt with 'owner direct' type sites that pictures can be taken to flatter, or camera angles used to conceal. However, this is completely without warrant in this case and I can categorically guarantee that what you see in the pictures is absolutely what you get in real life! Think that wonderful vista over the lake behind Mickey and Minnie framing the fountain is an illusion? Absolutely not, it's that fantastic. Think the pictures of the pool and spa look too good to be true? Well believe it, we enjoyed them to the full. Games room really that capable? Oh yes, my son and I enjoyed the pool table and the air hockey immensely. This villa was perfect, and as travellers a long way from home, it was a joy to stay in. Location was excellent - to the west end of the '192' so great for driving to the parks and in a quiet and tidy residential street. As there is no-one immediately to the right of this villa (there's a small 'inlet' from the lake) there is a 'semi-detached' feel to it which adds to the sense of open-ness and space when out the back. Facilities were superb, kitchen well appointed, TVs everywhere. Missing 'ice hockey' pucks were spotted before we arrived and dealt with proactively - this villa is clearly well managed and Derek gave us a ring mid-stay to check everything was ok. Beds were comfy and air con and fans meant the villa was always a welcome and refreshing haven at the end of tough day in the parks. It was an intense two weeks for us as a family, as we were doing the Disney and Universal 'thing' to the max but the villa was everything we hoped for and more. We whole-heartedly recommend this villa either as a base for doing the Orlando 'Madness' or simply as somewhere to stay 24/7 and soak up the sun quietly. We will certainly return, God-willing, and if you're reading this and tempted to book, go ahead and bon vacances! Thanks you Derek and Julie for sharing your home with us. “Beautiful home” We had a week long stay scheduled. It was beautiful. The house was amazing and the view was perfect. We had to cut our trip short though. There are so many stairs and the stairs down to the river were way too much. I wouldnt suggest this property for anyone with health conditions, pregnancy or small children with them. It would be perfect for young couples or older groups who are in excellent shape. Jeff Hayes was amazing to deal with as was Flip Key advisors. It was such a smooth way to book a beautiful home. I will definitely use them again in the future.

“Outstanding Villa in a beautiful surroundings.” We are a family of 5, stayed at the this Lakeside Luxury Villa for 9 weeks total. The house is so beautiful with all that is needed when staying with kids. Very spacious house and lots of things to do, table tennis, soccer game and Playstation game console where everybody can play. Giant TV with hundreds of satelite tv-channels. The pool area is simply fantastic, big south facing screen and large pool - sitting out there and watch the sunset is so lovely. We have rented lots of houes before in Florid and this is simply the best one we have rented. The house is close to supermarkets, mall, Disney and all kinds of activities and shopping. Do spare the words: This house is beautiful, with outstanding surroundings. Grade: 10 out of 10. Best Wishes for great stays. Stefan

“Highly recommend for great food, lodging, live music, and best of” There is a small group of ladies, three of us, who like to travel for wine tastings. We found a hotel in Richfeild Springs on a lake from trip advisor reviews, close to Cooperstown where our wine tasting was going on. When we returned to the Lake House that evening we sat by a fireplace in the living room and the door was open to the second floor and could hear clearly three men talking about a battle of the Potomac. Then they talked about Pickett's charge and on the 4th of July of '63 a train 14 miles long with Lee's wounded. We did notice an accent when they spoke but could not place it. The interesting part of this review came after our return home. It appears the Hotel is haunted (I am not one to believe in ghosts) but when we told our husbands about these three men talking about General Meade and Pickett's charge etc. and how many of their friends were lost ,They Looked at Bruce who teaches history and in disbelieve, informed us this was later known as the Battle of Gettysburg and ended on July 4th of 1863. This was 146 years ago to the day we were sitting there listening to these civil war veterans and 20 years to the day that the Lake House opened in 1843. Now all six of us will defintely be returning next july 4th to the Lake House for the Ghosts and great conversation.

“Relaxing vacation” We vacationed here for the first two weeks of July. Bill and Sandy were fabulous hosts. They were attentive to our needs and generous with their time taking us out in their boat to view the fireworks. The space is decorated tastefully and was clean and welcoming. We spent almost all of our time outdoors enjoying the sun and water. We ate most of our meals outside on the patio. The only thing that could have made it any better would have been to have a screened in area so that we could have stayed out later at night after the mosquitos' came out. We are planning on returning next year.

“Renter” Very good location. Just the right size for a couple looking for a quiet getaway from it all. Large number of wineries, cidery, craft brewers, available. A short drive to Ithaca where I recommend the Boat Yard Grill for dining. Pet friendly was a big plus. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Only drawback was wet firewood made it difficult to start a fire in the fireplace. A wood rack with a tarp would help. Would definitely recommend.

“Best Vacation!” I asked each of my kids to sum our stay at O'Cottage and they each yelled "Best vacation!" My wife agreed! It was great to take a break from the whirlwind of kids' activites to spend a week here in peace and quiet. The location on the lake is easily one of the best. We loved waking up to the water and going to bed after the campfire dwindled. The house is spacious and tidy and the outdoor shower is a treat. The owner is quick to respond to questions and the booking process was easy. Would I recommend this place to a friend? No! I want it all for myself! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with my family!

Melbourne Beach Condo, Come and Enjoy the Beach
Melbourne Beach apartment

“Quiet, affordable and as described” We had a nice, warm Melbourne visit. The Condo was as described and was priced appropriately. We received information prior to our visit on how to access the unit. It was very simply set up and allowed us that place to lay our heads at night or sit on the balcony to watch the variety of birds below. We felt very fortunate to have access to a very nice pool and hot tub. It was our "go to" place after our time on the local beaches or after a nice meal at The Cuban Restaurant....or even better DJon's by the River. Wonderful food - tried many unique eateries. Can also recommend Blueberry Muffin Restaurant for breakfast. John F. Kennedy Space Center is close enough for a nice day trip which we did. Excellent place to visit.

“Excellent location!” The house was very clean and well maintained. It was a short and easy drive to the Disney parks and Universal. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool after a long day of walking in the heat. It was a perfect size for my husband and I,our two grown sons and their fiancés. A great alternative to staying on Disney property because it was like being in our own home. Laree is fantastic to work with!

“A great get away weekend” My family visited Cooperstown in Oct. of 2009 and stayed in this wonderful house. The location was great: it wasn't too far of a drive into downtown Cooperstown and all the attractions but far enough out of town to enjoy the peacefulness of the surrounding area. This property was well kept and has water access to the beautiful lake just across the street. The views of the lake and the surrounding woods can be seen from almost every room of the house; I especially loved the rooms in the front of the house which were all windows and you could enjoy the amazing views while eating meals. This house contained an amazing kitchen (newly renovated it seemed) and bathrooms while keeping with the charm and style of the area and surrounding houses. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning soon hopefully.
