“A home from home” I stayed in the house with my family in early June. When we arrived we were made feel very welcome and were even left with a few basic food items. The house is very bright and clean and in a nice, safe residential area. There are plenty shops and restaurants in the area, the supermarket "Waitrose" is only 5 min walk away and has all the groceries you will need during your stay. The best feature of this house is that it is like moving into someone's home rather than a rental property. It has all the facilities you would need (kitchen utensils, iron etc.) as well as basic food items to keep you going until you make it to the shops. Also, being able to prepare you own food in the house makes the cost of the stay much lower than staying in a hotel. The only downside to this property is its distance from London city centre. The tube stop is a 15-20 min. walk from the house and you have about 30mins on the tube after this. Having said this, the journey did not really bother us, it's just something to be aware of. Also, the distance of the property from the centre is reflected in the very reasonable rental cost; with prices shooting up the closer you get to the centre. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this homely property.
