“Beautiful house in the perfect English village” Castle View is a very comfortable holiday cottage in the heart of the picturesque village of Yorkshire. The kitchen is narrow, which is a bit inconvenient if you occupy the house with 6 people or more, but in general the house is perfectly equipped and very well maintained. The area around Helmsley is gorgeous : Rievaulx abbey, the North York Moors, the Yorkshire Coast, the city of York are all nearby.

“awesome” what a wonderful place, and the hosts were lovely people as well as the pets. Great location. Could not fault the accomadation, most comfortable bed we slept in, would reccomend it to any body, and if ever we went back to yorkshire we would stay there again for sure. “What a great cottage” Lovely cottage. Located on the edge of a small village which is only two miles from a town with many shops and restaurants. The cottage itself was spotless when we arrived. Cosy yet felt spacious as each of the five rooms was set out on its own level. Equipped with everything we could possibly need, including soft duvets, fire wood and a much welcomed bottle of wine.

“Really great cottage in a great location” We had a lovely stay here Kirkby Moorside is a lovely place and the cottage was a perfect base. There is a great playground just a minute from the cottage and great dog walking. The cottage was just lovely a real home from home, one we would definately like to return to.
