“Quiet relaxation” We absolutely loved our stay! The condo is on the third floor, so there’s great views of the grounds, and a walking path to the ocean and pier. The Plantation was extremely quiet, and the people we did come across were welcoming and friendly. The condo was clean, cozy, stocked with necessary kitchen and even toiletries for the bathroom! That was a pleasant surprise. We spent most of our time sitting on the screened porch listening to the fountains and birds. The owner is very responsive to texts and emails. We definitely recommend this as a vacation spot, and will be back.

“Perfect family getaway.” The villa was large, airy and perfectly suited for a large family. The layout gave us all plenty of room. The location is absolutely ideal and the Whites (owners) provided great local information for us as first time visitors and were available for any other questions. The availability of the Westin Resort amenities, pool, shuttle and beach access a few minutes away were indispensable. Lucked into finding this unit and will look here first for our next visit.

“Beautiful ocean front getaway” This is a hidden gem as far as resorts. You can't get closer to the ocean for this price. A lil small and dated but perfect for my wife and I on our weekend getaway. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to staying again!! Gated community,on site eating options and a beach front bar are just a few of the perks. Doesnt get much better for the price!!

“?” Shorewood is a great place to vacation with an excellent exterior hot tub, pool, lots of parking, clean grounds, very courteous staff and very secure premises. I had a super 7 weeks during the winter and recommend it. The unit 430 is very comfortable and well situated although it would need a minor facelift it is spacious and functional. “Location is Great...but units are showing their age...” Shorewood is in a fabulous location on the ocean in S. Forest Beach with a terrific pool. The units are spacious and clean...but many are in need of updating. Functional... but all the kitchen drawers are in terrible shape - most don't open and close properly. Bathrooms are OLD but, again, functional. The beds and pillows - not comfortable. And judging from the print on the mattresses, probably original to the units from 1975. And the only reason we saw that print was because the sheets and mattress protectors are so old and worn that they would slip off the mattresses during the night. But...again ... it was what we expected. There are 3 TV's in the unit which is a bonus. And the view is very nice. We booked last minute so we didn't have the best pick of units as far as condition, but we did get a nice view which was more important than a more updated unit.

“Off season but a great time” Unit is great but understand it is a three story walk up. There is an elevator but it is very, very far away. Worked fine for us as both of us can always use a little more effort. Not too many amenities available in March.

“Since we found this house we've not stayed anywhere else!” This was our 3rd year staying at 2 Bayberry and we have already booked it for next year! It is perfect for the whole family with a 2nd den upstairs. It is also wonderful working with the ladies at Beachside Getaway! Whatever we need we just call them up. When I arrived this year I noticed the tea kettle was missing so I asked them about it...one was delivered the next day! We wouldn't stay anywhere else!!!
