“Quiet, comfortable, delicious, interesting and easy!” Quiet, tho we watched a movie and enjoyed the creek flow sounds; comfortable and pretty indoors and out; delicious organic goodies from the garden with tour; interesting to see and learn about the eco architecture; and super easy staying in or going to Bryson City or asheville. We totally enjoyed it and meeting Linda!

“Wonderful and Quiet Cabin” The cabin was wonderful and high on a hill where it was very quiet. The cabin is central to Cherokee, Cashiers and Dillsboro which are the places we visited. The cabin was really nice and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony and seeing 2 baby deer eat each morning. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of places to sleep. The TVs were a little tricky and we never figured out how to be able to watch TV even with the instructions that were left there. Also, you will be warned about the steep drive up which is very scary at first but once you do it a few times it gets less scary. We did arrive at 4:00 PM for check-in but was told when we pulled up that they were still cleaning the cabin. After a 4 hour drive to get to the cabin we stood for an hour in the driveway until 5:00 PM waiting for it to finished being cleaned. I did call the property manager as I was instructed to do in the email I had received, but I did not get an answer. I emailed the property owner to inform him that we were not able to check in on time and was told by the owner that the property manager was his mom who was cleaning the cabin. He did offer to allow us to stay an extra hour at check out which we took full advantage of. The cabin was clean and so it did not ruin our trip.

“Cabin Birthday Retreat” Couldn't have picked a better place for 3 friends to celebrate their 25th birthday while meeting each others friends. Stayed inside to great food and drinks and the 2014 winter olympics. Furniture recently updated, cabin was more than spacious, even if you had 14 people. All the supplies you would need are located within the cabin and anything else you may need as far as questions or accommodations the owners were more than happy to assist with. Roads were even paved for us after a cold and snowy chicago winter. Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and secluded weekend getaway from the city life. Will definitely be back again!

“What a great, relaxing and fun time!” We had the best time, the view was great and the cabin was spectacular. We never met a stranger in Derby, everyone was so friendly and down home--our kind of people. “Super will go again” Annual get together that has been to several places on Smith Mtn Lake with this being rated at the top. This was spacious and comfortable with a great screened in porch that had super view of lake and plenty of room to accommodate all of our group. Plenty of dishes and accessories in the kitchen to cook and prepare whatever we wanted. With 5 bedrooms there is lots of sleep spots and privacy. Will go again.

“Exquisitely serene.” My spouse, 2 dogs, and I stayed for 5 nights. We were delightfully pleased with the solitude of the setting and the uniqueness of the cabin. “Beutiful cabin,great place for some R” I rented the cabin for the weekend after Christmas as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. It turned out to be a great gift. It was so nice to get some great R&R; after the busy week of Christmas. The cabin was clean and beautiful, we loved it. The town of McConnelsville is about 20 minutes away,we went in for coffee and lunch, and returned later for dinner. We did a little hiking in the woods behind the cabin. I would love to rent the cabin again, maybe in the spring or summer and take my grandkids. Antler Ridge is everything a cabin should be.
