“Excellent location in a comfortable apartment” The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. It was an ideal location, within walking distance to the centre of Beverley. Also a good location for visiting York, Hull and the East Yorkshire coastline.

“Charme and style next to York Minster!” Out of five stars I would readily give five and a half to this fantastic place where we (my auntie and I) have spent a couple of wonderful days! We immediately felt at home... I particularly liked the stylish look with its charming mix of antique and modern elements, well chosen, original decoration and those warm and appeasing pastel colours... and the kitchen is almost better equipped than my own back home in France! The beds are so comfortable, we just slept heavenly well in them... but that's not all: the location is simply perfect - very quiet, yet in the very heart of the city - the Minster, the Shambles, shops, museums, restaurants - everything is in walking distance... Speaking of restaurants: if I had to recommend two places, it would be the "Rustique" (28 Castelgate) - very nice French cuisine & friendly service - and for ice cream lovers "licc" (20 Back Swinegate) is a must! All in all a fantastic and unforgettable holiday experience, a big Merci, we'll definitely be back and recommend you to friends and family!

“Peacefull” very quiet down country lane very clean kitchen a bit on the small side but everything you need was their. Nice pub 5 mins walk but dark lane torch was supplied handy for york on the park and ride could not work the oven one day the owner from next door came straight away got it working

“Great Week in the Vale of York” Great accomodation, friendly welcome and the hot tube was a big hit with the family. Well appointed and nicely presented self catering cottage. Although the owners house is adjoining there were no issues with privacy - nice rural setting. Laundry facilities provided so great for families. Malton only 7 miles away so easy access to supermarket and local shops. Location's great as it's handy for York, the coast, Dalby Forrest and North Yorkshires Moors - wish we'd had more time to explore as we found that there was just so much to do. Highlights of the week were: hiring mountain bikes in Dalby Forrest, and sightseeing in York Only slight down side was that there was no blind on the velux window in the downstairs (3rd) bedroom. So it was just as well that our son gets up at the crack of dawn anyway. Would thoroughly recommend this cottage as it was also great value for money.

“A brilliant place to stay” Everything was just right for an excellent family holiday. Clean, the beds were comfortable, there was plenty to entertain the kids and it was in a good position for getting to a range of venues. Just don't eat at the village pub-had to be the worst food and least friendly waitress-although the beer and landlord werte good.

“Peace and quiet and luxurious comfort” This is very well appointed, spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to four couples. It has four en-suite bedrooms, a large kitchen, dining room and lounge, and looks out onto an attractively undulating golf course. The garden is extensive and there is ample parking space for four vehicles. The location, roughly midway between Hull and Beverley, is very quiet and peaceful. My only reservation concerns the en suite facilities: the main bedroom is huge and luxuriously furnished, but the bath is rather small and though it has a shower attachment the water pressure is too weak to be effective. The other bedrooms have showers, but in one of them there was no hot water, so guests sleeping in that room had to use someone else's showering facilities. This fault aside, my wife and our friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and for a week's stay in such large premises it was very moderately priced.

“Lovely cosy hideaway” What a lovely, cosy cottage. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we had the most relaxing time. The cottage is beautifully furnished, comfortable and cosy. The kitchen is really well appointed and the log burning stove adds a lovely, country feel. For us the best thing was that our puppy Bailey loved it! The courtyard is totally secure so he was able to have a run around without us worrying. On our arrival we were greeted by a lovely box of cakes, jar of coffee, fresh milk and a local paper which, after a long drive, were very very welcome. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are hoping to return later this year!

“excellent, great place, well positioned everything it says in br” We were met by the proprietor who had just finished cleaning. He showed us where the key was an how everything worked. The cottage was clean, tidy, plenty of wood for woodburner and full of character. We loved the mezzanine bedroom and the shower room. Kitchen was very good with plenty of cutlery and crockery. Lots of info on area and a special offer for a meal at the Indian restaurant nearby. Nothing we disliked about it as it was all as described.

“very nice cottage in a nice area,hot tub was a big bonus.” Everything from the start to the finish was 1st class,the booking,mine hosts were very helpful,and the area was nicely placed for all the major attractions,which were reachable within the hour. A must for everyone is to visit beverley cathedral and york minster, as well as visiting bridlington,whitby and staithes to name a few. The cottage was 1st class in everyway.
