“Highly recommended!” We held a week long family gathering with 14 guests ranging in age from 2 years to 70 years. The location was perfect for our multi use needs and there was loads of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Even on the one "rain" day all the kids had play space in the nicely finished basement and spacious open concept living areas. The main cottage deck offers loads of space to sit back, relax and enjoy the 180 degree views of the beautiful lake. The kitchen and large eating area (two tables) was very useful for cooking large meals. The spare fridge in the basement came in handy for overflow food, treats and drinks. We rented a canoe and water trampoline from algonquin Outfitters, which added endless fun and entertainment for the kids and adults. The small beach area was a great little safe harbour for the little ones to play and explore the shallow water area. We look forward to renting this luxurious location again. T

“Made our trip to Canada special!” Blue Heron made our first trip to Canada just perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and it was a real pleasure to meet you! We really enjoyed the fireplace and also algonquin's nature and wild life is just terrific. We will make sure to stop by at your awesome cottage on our next vacation to Canada We saw 7 moose in total!!! Were are all so happy and content

“Girls weekend away” Six of us brought together through a breast cancer survivor dragonboat team formed a bond and now we get together once a year at the "Annex". We go in the fall and enjoy the colours and serenity of the place. We have so much fun, the house is big and rustic. We enjoy the fireplace, the big kitchen, we take turns making meals and can't enough of the great outdoors. Dave makes sure we have enough wood and all the comforts of home. We just love the place and are looking forward to going back again this year.
