“Wonderful experience” We had a wonderful week here, Detu (our butler) looked after every need for us, meals that we had here were superb. Travelling around Bali ourselves meant that location was not a problem. The villa had every thing we needed to enjoy our stay here and we hope to return here soon. “Your private paradise with large pool and seaview at Bali.” We have stayed for a week at the villa and it was really a 5 star experience. Villa Bersama has is a very spacious accomodation with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large pool and situated at the beach. Add to this the excellent staff who cleans, cooks and does the laundry. Chief Ketut makes all kind of delicious local dishes. A driver is available at a reasonable rate and the villa is guarded 24/7. There is a lot of interesting things to do and to see in the environment and our highlight was our private "taxi ride" to the dolphins at sea. We were picked up in front of the villa at sea by a local fisherman who took us to dolphins. We saw hundreds of them, a breathtaking experience!

“Consistently exceptional!” My friends always ask me why I keep going back to Villa Wilali and the answer is really simple. I've travelled all over the world in search of a piece of paradise and nothing compares to wilali for relaxation, privacy and pampering! Everything is affordable, the food is great, the snorkeling is amazing and the weather warm. The yoga on the lawn was brilliant and the massages by the ocean are divine. The whole experience is pure bliss.

“Great location and service!” I recently stayed at Baruna Villa with my boyfriend and another couple and had a wonderful stay. We originally tried to book at Marta's, which was booked but the owner suggested we stay at Baruna (they share ownership) which turned out to be less expensive than staying at a hotel and we had the whole villa to ourselves! The villa is a great property -- very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. It is in a perfect location, a short walk or bike ride from the beach, restaurants, etc but tucked away from the more developed areas of the island so it stays quiet and feels more private. A few bikes are provided free of charge, so it's very easy to get around the island. The only complaint was that the internal walls in the villa were quite thin so you can easily hear conversations/noise through the walls -- but not a big problem since you'll likely rent the villa with friends or family. The best part about Baruna was absolutely the service. There are a couple of staff who stay at the villa (in separate quarters) who make breakfast each morning, can do laundry if needed and are around to help with directions or to answer any questions -- they were all lovely and very helpful. Joanna, who manages the property, was hugely helpful to us throughout our stay. She helped us book transportation to the villa from Bali and met us at the boat dock to take us to the villa. She also helped us book activities on the island (a day boat trip), provided restaurant recommendations and even helped us book flights and transport to our next destination on Lombok! She really went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of.

“Best view on Bali and very luxurious.” I stayed for 9 wonderful days. It is located 2 km from the nearest village, 25 minute walk on narrow jungle road that is bumpy and became unpassable 400 meters before the villa in this very rainy season so we had to walk those last meters. Car could not be used but I had my own driver. Having read the other reviews I need to make a few comments: the villa is very luxurious. The marvelous Balinese furniture is top class and super luxurious. The 4 bedrooms are great and all with great views. The pool is fantastic and was not too cold (about 20 degrees). Some will not like that temperature but most will. The owner would not swim in this time of year. He is a very nice man who stays with family in Ubud when he has guests in the villa and is on holiday on Bali. Personell is wonderful, especially Ketut, who lives with wife and child in the cottage just behind the villa, under the restaurant/bar (which is only for guests). During day he leaves you quite alone and only comes (in my case) for breakfast and dinner at agreed times. The view is more spectacular than I had imagined. Pictzres don't do it justice, You see the deep valley and behind it 9 mountains, not "Payangan range" as one reviewer says, but the high ones around the northern lakes, with Batukaru in front to the left. The top lounge has a DVD player that also plays CDs and there is a collection of 260 legal Dvds (Australian), divided (by me) in action, Drama and Comedy, alphabetically. All sorts of great films. Also other Dvds in the drawer. Villa is at 660 meters and no airco or ventilation was needed during day or night (and I normally need it more than others).I could wear what I wanted all day and evening. About the rooms: not all beds are equal. The ones on middle floor are King size (180 cm) and soft beds. The ones on lower level are 160 cm and hard mattrasses. Villa surrounded by neighbours with animals so not totally quiet. "Relaxing, quiet" will mean for reviewers that it was OK for them.

“Excellent stay in beautiful Bali” We stayed in Bali the week after celebrating Christmas in our current hometown Singapore. Bali was just beautiful and very relaxing. The home was in an excellent condition and the service outstanding. The staff made sure we had a very relaxing holiday without any worries or stress. “A little piece of Paradise” Beautiful villa set in equally beautiful surroundings, the ideal place to just sit and watch the world go by. Spend six days here split between just sitting around chilling out and being a bit more adventurous seeing the local attractions. Made the housekeeper was a wonderful cook and person who it seemed nothing was too much for. Gede was also always on hand to offer suggestions on possible excursions and organise them for you with his drivers Kadek and Putou who were also excellent. Then on top of that there was the gardener and night time security guard just to make sure everything was perfect. What more could you want?
