“Very nice cabin with great view” We had a great time at this beautiful, very well maitained cabin. It was very clean and had all the amenities of home, including flat screen tv. Great view and being able to take the dog with us was a plus! All the hiking wore the dog out. This was our second time staying with Old Man's Cave Chalet's and we weren't dissapointed.

“A Frame 4” We loved the cabin. When we first drove up to the A Frames, we thought they were so close together, but they were definitely private enough. They were simple, but had everything we needed, and were very clean. All of the staff that we interacted with were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!

“Nice, clean, good value for two couples” Wife & I stayed one night with another couple. The ladies liked it a lot. Tired from hiking all day so no grave concerns about privacy, which may be an issue for some - but not an issue as regards neighboring a-frames. The upstairs bedroom is open and situated above the downstairs bedroom. 1 bath shared by all. Nice "living room" with fireplace and well-equipped kitchen (corkscrew, stemware, etc.). Used Hot tub / jacuzzi and it was fine.

“Awesome Cabin!” My boyfriend and I have stayed in a-frame #1 two years in a row now and we are about to reserve it for a coulpe more nights in March this year. I would recommend any Old Man's Cave Chalet to anyone. The staff is always extremely nice and helpful and the cabins are very clean. We love a-frame #1 because it sits at the top of the hill and it is very private.

“The Martin Family Getaway During Spring Break, Lincolnway School” The 7 members of the Martin family picked just the right week and the right lodge to stay in during Spring Break 2010. The lodge was great, offering us everything we needed to "rough it" in the hills of Hocking County. The grandchildren lived like royalty with all the bedrooms (nobody had to share), the big TV, the 2 fridges, and the hot tub. The weather was like summer, so, of course, they wanted to know why the pool wasn't open. They all voted that we make a second trip this year to stay in an Old Man's Cave Lodge. And, the fact that Wal-Mart was only minutes away helped. Happy kids make for happy adults. Thanks, everyone.

“Great spot” We truly enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful cabin and the staff was super friendly. It was in a great wooded location with privacy.

“Relaxation” We enjoyed our stay at the Settler. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the deer over the hill in front of the cabin. The hot tub was great and the log style of the cabin and the size of the home made the stay very enjoyable. The cabin was clean and very inviting when we arrived. Cannot think of anything we liked least. The only minor problem was the sink in the bathroom was slow to drain, but that was it.

“Clean and Cozy” We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was simply and efficiently equipped for a lovely weekend! Conveniently located in close proximity to the main park attractions/trail heads.

“Glamping at its best” Great setting in the woods perfect, for 2 couples or family of 6. Short drive to hiking in state park and don't forget to soak in the spa while you enjoy the stars, crickets and frogs. Btw the BBQ trailer at the entrance to cabin road should not be missed. He will fix up a plate to go and they were perhaps the best spare ribs we ever had no kidding!,!

“It was a fun, relaxing stay” The chalet was quaint and very clean. Staff was very nice and accomodating. Hot tub was clean and in good condition. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay, and will definitely come back in the future.

“Nice, quiet, but” Comfortable and though other a-Frames were near, the back porches were constructed to give a secluded feeling. Scenery on site was beautiful with great views and easy access to Old Man's Cave. Service was friendly and accomodating. Only 2 compliants: 1. The unit must have been vacant for several days and was warm inside and the fridge was not cool at all. We could not use the fridge to store the food we brought, we used our ice chest instead. However, the staff was very responsive and provided a new fridge, which cooled but took several hours to get coole enough for good storage. 2. For the price of the unit, one would expect a few more amenities: Daily Coffee Packets & Tea Packets, Popcorn, etc, items that are often provided at vacation rentals. Overall beautiful scenery, nice and comfortable unit, and friendly and responsive staff.

“great stay!” Everything was wonderful...clean, comfortable, quiet...it was great!

“My wonderful escape” We first stayed in this cabin back in 2009 for my husband's birthday. I didn't know what to expect considering I found this hidden luxury on the internet. When we arrived we were extatic! It was rustic, romantic and a wonderful place to get away from the everyday stresses of life. We loved it so much we came back the following Feb. with friends. They enjoyed it as well and has now became a yearly tradition. The cabin is always clean the staff is always helpful, and the scenery is relaxing. I highly suggest the couples massage, it really was the icing to our trip! Love This company it's the only company we will rent from due to our high standards.

“Great place to stay with some issues though” My wife and I stayed for two nights to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin was great and pretty clean except that the sofa looked dirty. It seemed never being washed for years. The hot tub was nice except that the water had in-balanced PH that led to itchiness of our skin. They should test it before we check in. The problem was resolved after we talked to the maintenance guy. In addition, we suggest to place a small stool besides the hot tub, it would be difficult for short people to climb in. Overall, we liked the place that is within a couple of hour drive from where we live, great for getaway on long weekend.

“AMAZING!” The cabin was very beautiful. A group of four only stayed for one night and wish we would have booked for two! This is the perfect retreat and get away for individuals, families, or couples. We spent most of the night in the hot tub. Would completely recommend. There was also a pool at the front of old man's case. The only thing we did not have was a fire pit but that was okay!

“Exactly as it looks in the add” Clean, professional, well appointed. Only downside was the open door on the covered porch that allowed the children next door to spy on us in the hot tub, and the relative closeness of the other cabins - could hear the children next door yelling when we were inside.

“Great escape” Perfect setting. Great cabin. Would go back there for sure. Cabin was well stocked, clean, and quiet. Never saw so many stars at night in my life!

“yearly anniversary trip” We have stayed at this cabin numerous times, our anniversary is in October and we always try to come here for a few days just to relax...never have had a problem. We did have a mouse one year. But other then that, it's been great. looking forward to this years visit.

“Relaxing get away!” We stayed at the Hawks Peak with six people very comfortably. The cabin was very clean and the beds are soft, the water pressure was fine and the quality of water was great as well. The hot tub was the best for us. The tops are so easy to take off and we loved the led lights. We had to call the front desk for a new gas tank for the grill and they were there very quick! A+ Only suggestion would be to add a light by the grill area. There are rope lights on the stairs except for the last one, so its hard to see the last step in the desk. We had two people fall and almost sprained an ankle - other then than excellent cabin! The cabin is perfect distance to any of the fine attractions!

“Family pre Christmas” We went to Big Sky Lodge with children & grandchildren. We were very pleased with the accomodations. Plenty of room, well equipped kitchen. We could have used a 9 x13 cakep pan , but had everything else we needed. Only a few negatives: distance to Old Man Cave attractions for those who get car sick & septic system may need upgraded Several of the toilets clogged easily. Would consider going back maybe in summer to enjoy the pool.

“Clean & comfortable” Clean, comfortable lodgings located a mere 5 minutes from Old Man's Cave.

“Wonderful Get A Way Cabin!” We have stayed at The Rim of The World Cabin at least 6 times over the past 5 years and have found all of our stays to be a wonderfully relaxing experience in all seasons. Todd and Julie are great people and even though they do live next door, the cabin is very remote and they are both on-call for any needs that may arise. Since we have stayed here in all seasons, we have enjoyed the hot tub even when it was snowing! From our first trip down to the cabin 5 years ago and every visit since we felt right at home in a clean environment, fresh bedding and towels. With the fire place and the hot tub, The Rim of The World Cabin is truly a place you can rekindle the romance that everyday life seems to take away. “Overall, very happy with the cabin and our stay.” We went to hocking hills for our honeymoon.....Very nice and well kept. Great double deck and yard. John was great to work with when needed. Would defiantly visit again!!!!

“Wonderful!” We loved staying at the cabin! The weather was not ideal so it was wonderful to have the air hockey table to keep the kids entertained and we enjoyed the hot tub every night. The cabin was very welcoming and cozy. It felt like we were staying with family!

“A Peacefull time away.” We always enjoy returning to Hocking Hills. We do prefer Old Mans Cave Chalets to some of the other places we have stayed. Your cabins are clean. I would suggest rugs by the doors and by the coffee table to make it more homey. We love the porch swing. I did come with a grandchild this time, so the peaceful wasn't quite the same, but the time we shared was wonderful. Your service was very good. Only time that I thought was unpleasant, was the mowing and weed wacking. I know it must be done, but maybe after checkout. We hope to return soon. Sincerely, Kathy Kukes

“A stellar cabin” Our stay at Alpine, Hocking Hills, was very agreeable. We got to relax in a spacious cabin with our happy dog, who enjoyed the area hiking at Cantwell Cliffs, Cedar Falls and Ash Cave. Each evening we got to enjoy state-of-the art amenities; most items like dish soap and the modern conveniences of laundry machine and dish washer were provided. We loved our stay, a short couple of days but long on memories. Thanks!

“In a word, Pinewood Cabin is Perfect!” My husband, my son, our puppy and I spent three days and two nights at Pinewood Cabin. We had a marvelous time. The cabin was very clean and homey. It was equipped with everything we needed. For example, I forgot to buy coffee filters, and lo and behold, there was a whole bag of filters in the cupboard. I'm a writer, and I wrote an essay about my stay at this cabin. The piece is called "The Importance of Finding Your Happy Place." Pinewood Cabin is my happy place. The piece is going to be published on a psychology website in two weeks. What can I say? Pinewood Cabin is an inspirational location. Go there, and be relaxed, amazed and happy!

“Our 32 yr. anniversay...” It was perfect...from the moment we arrived, the ease of signing in...the weather gave us warmth, the chilly rainy, and there is nothing more soothing than the sound of rain on the roof with the warm glow of a fire. But the biggest treat was the ability to have side by side massages therapists work our tired, over workded and aging bodies the TLC they needed. Blue Valley should be touted and commended!
