Croatian Beach House - Omis

“Fun family house in lively Croatia beach town” We were 2 families that stayed in the house so it was tight but also very comfortable. It is laid out on 3 floors so we did not feel too crammed. They were very nice about working with us and our large group and even ordered bunk beds to fit us better. Miriam is very friendly and helpful. The town is literally right out the door so we were in the middle of everything. The river is off the other side which was fun to watch. It is not luxurious but a really fun place to stay on a family vacation. My husband wrote the family the following: We loved your home and your village. We felt like we were living in a real home and almost a part of the community. The magic word we used was "we are staying in the pirate house" and occasionally "Miriam"-worked very well. I personally enjoyed watching the village "wake up" every morning-setting up the shops, the restaurants, workers getting dropped off in the village to work from where they lived in the mountains-really enjoyable.. Omis is beautiful as is Croatia and the whole areas offers great adventures. Our day rafting on the river was terrific. The beach was great for everyone. And it was really nice to not hear much English spoken during the entire week! The responsiveness and friendliness of your family was amazing and very much appreciated. Hard to come up with any bad or ugly-except maybe hitting my poor head on the kitchen doorway L a bunch of times!
