“Fabulous little cottage” Although this cottage is tooked away down a little alley between shops, the directions given made it easy to find. Lovely cottage, welcoming, lovely decor and quite spacious. It is very clean, the layout makes for a very cosy holiday and everything you could ever need is provided together with an excellent selection of books, dvds, cds and games and a great jigsaw which we completed on a wet day. Very convenient for local shops and the beach and eating places. Can certainly recommend without hesitation and would return ourselves in the future. One of the nicest cottages we have stayed in over the years. Lovely little patio/garden area although we didn't use it owing to the time of year (October) we visited and very mixed weather.

About Pembrokeshire

Pembrokeshire's charming character and gorgeous landscape will have you coming back year after year. Located in the south west of Wales, Pembrokeshire borders Carmarthenshire to the east and Ceredigion to the north east. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is one of the main reasons to visit this beautiful area. Rugged cliffs and coastal rock formations are home to healthy populations of seabirds, porpoises, whales, seals and dolphins. Cycle, hike or sea kayak around the 186 miles of spectacular coastline. Flowing right through the heart of the county is the Daugleddau Estuary, a series of quiet tidal backwaters that at low tide reveal salt marsh and mud flats teeming with bird life.

Things to do in Pembrokeshire

The award-winning beaches make Pembrokeshire a summer delight for locals and visitors. With over 50 to choose from, you'll find somewhere to lay out and grab a tan. Barafundle Bay and Freshwater West are two of the most popular beaches in the area. Protected by their National Park status, Pembrokeshire's beaches have some of the cleanest waters and sands.

Where there are beaches, there are watersports to keep your entire family busy. Kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing, fishing, power boating, sailing and more. As mentioned above, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail hugs the coastline for 186 miles and has some of the most breathtaking coastal scenery in Britain. It is a wonderful trail to hike and isn't too difficult to traverse.

Away from the shore, spend your day exploring historic Pembroke Castle or St. David's Cathedral. Look for puffins at Skomer Island or shriek your way through the Pembrokeshire Falconry, where you can get up close and personal with some real falcons. Stroll through the dozens of gardens in the area and bask in the beauty of Pembrokeshire.

The Paddocks Ludchurch
Super bungalow in a lovely location.

Super bungalow -really spacious and there was ample room for all of us including our 3 year old grandson -he enjoyed the long run from one end to the other!!! We loved the lovely country views and big windows and the well equipped kitchen. All of the bedrooms were plenty big enough and we specially loved our super big bedroom with the four poster and the very big bathroom. Also another good bathroom (though it would have been even nicer with a second shower over the bath too with there being 6 adults). The lounge is a lovely size too. Lynn and Beryl couldn't do enough to help us. Lyn emailed before-hand to check our grandson's age and even provided a night light for him and books and dvds etc. We were greeted with teacups at the ready and Welsh cakes and even a fruit juice drink for our grandson..The wi-fi was struggling somewhat with there being so many of us but they boosted it daily for us and did what they could.Shame they couldn't have boosted the weather for us too though we did have 2 or 3 sunny days throughout our stay so not all bad!! The beaches are lovely and only a short drive away. Loved the area and would like to return with better weather so that we can appreciate it even more next time!!!! Thanks again to Lynn and Beryl.see more
Tenby Apartment (St Catherines, Islands View)
Easter Break

The location is ideal and provides fantastic views over Penally bay. The apartment has everything you need for a short break, a well equipped kitchen (if you want to cook), a spacious lounge with great views and comfy beds. A short walk from the house across the golf course takes you onto the beach and allows you to enjoy a great walk to Tenby. The pub across from the apartment is nice and a great location and the staff were very friendly. During our stay we visited Stakepole Estate which is a national trust property and provides absolutely stunning scenery of the Pembrokeshire coastline. If you enjoy the fresh air and walks this is the place to go.see more

The best ever

I wish I could offer more than the 5 stars for this lovely holiday home. We have stayed in many other places in the Haverfordwest area when visiting my parents but this was above and beyond, and will always be our first choice in future. From start to finish Mabel and William were the perfect hosts. I have some allergies which they catered for meticulously, the property was spotlessly clean and our every need was catered for. The annexe had an air of comfort and relaxation I have never experienced before to that extent. The fridge and shelves were packed with every possible food for breakfast, all of good quality. When we needed an item not routinely provided (huge pans, more outside furniture, deck chair for the beach etc), Mabel and William immediately supplied these. Because the annexe is on the flat and has wide doors etc, we were able to have my disabled father over for dinner which was a great boon. What can I say but 'Thank you so much' to William and Mabel for providing us with a home from home, making our trip so special. 6 stars for this beautiful place!see more
Sea Front Marina Apartment on Pembrokeshire Coast
Best we have stayed in

I stayed here with an adult sister. We like our comforts and this apartment was excellent in every way - clean, spacious and well appointed. One small item was missing from the kitchen and the owner brought it round as soon as we notified. Several places to eat out within 4-5 minutes walk completed our happiness!see more
