“A great place in a great city” This apartment looked great on the website and exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate, very clean with lovely furnishings and a confortable large bed. Breakfast was even provided and WiFi! The hostess could not have been more helpful even though we arrived late. The apartment was cleaned mid-stay with new towels etc which we did not expect. The washing machine made packing into a small case easy! I would not hesitate to recommend it if you want to stay in Palermo but have much more room,freedom and a taste of Siciliy than staying in a hotel.

“Wonderful apartment in Palermo” The apartment was perfect - clean, bright and spacious with excellent fixtures in the ultra modern bathrooms and kitchen. The balcony was also excellent - spacious with fantastic views of the rooftops of Palermo including the Cathedral. Antonio was the perfect host - he met us outside the building, carried our bags to the apartment and took me to the nearest market to stock up on some essential provisions. He had already provided chilled water and a delicious selection of fruit and cakes in the apartment as a greeting. The location is also prefect - situated about half way between Via Maqueda and Via Roma. It's a few minutes walk from The Church of San Domenico and the wonderful Vucciria Market with it's wonderful selection of stalls and shops by day and great bars and street food stalls at night. Thoroughly recommend and hope to be back sometime soon!

Charming rooftop apartment downtown
Perfect Service/Perfect Flat/Perfect Location

Even the first contact with the owner antonio was very friendly and absolutely easy. He provided every neccessary information precisely in advance. We were greeted by the friendly householders who surprised us with fresh oranges and pastries.The apartment is situated in the very centre of Palermo. All major attractions are within walking distance. The apartment itself is very well laid out. The double beds in the bedroom were very comfortable. During the winter there are even huge down blankets and orthopedic pillows. I've never slept so well in a foreign bed. The kitchen is small but very well equipped. The two bathrooms look like new. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The interior is a pleasant mix of Ikea, design, and old furniture. From the living room there is access to the spacious terrace with its breathtaking views of the city. Even the construction site does not interfere with the view. Delighted we were on the fast WiFi. The apartment is quiet in itself. Nevertheless, the lively pulse of the vibrant city also abounds with 4 Floor of the house. But who will travel to Palermo, know that it is a noisy and dirty city. Nice stay

Wonderful hosts, Guisy and Giuseppe. Beautiful pool, spacious villa, lots of room to relax in or out of the sun. Pierreo in the baker van will bring fresh bread, pizza, croissant etc, each morning. As we didn't hire a car, Giuseppe drove us about for a very reasonable rate and to shopping or beach for nothing ! Guisy also made us homemade pizza one night which was delicious. I had fun with Giuseppe trying to communicate via phone translator app as neither of us could speak the others language! Try the ice cream and eat in Saint Nichol, and the beach there is quite nice although Cefalu for us was the nicest for culture, food and sea. We were all made to feel very much at home and enjoyed our 10 days, Thankyou Guisy and Giuseppe. … see more

Highly recommended

Wonderful extremely spacious apartment in a Palazzo in the middle of Palermo. Spotlessly clean, with everything you could could need. Kitchen with refrigerator, modern washing machine/dryer, ironing board and iron, coffee machine with coffee tea and milk. All towels and linen provided. Hairdryer and soap etc. in bathroom. Good airconditioning as well. Breakfast limited to packet biscuits but this is no problem as there are plenty of places nearby to eat. Small balcony. We felt very secure. Hand over of keys uncomplicated and information from Francesca was very helpful. Free wi/fi. Parked the car in the street below and didn't use it for 3 days. Downside-maybe a bit dark for winter but it was ok for us as it was quite hot. And to be expected, if you want to stay so central you must expect a bit noise at night. Villa of Tangerines in Cefalù - Sicily
A hidden gem!

My family and I stayed for one week at Villa Tangerines. We loved it! It is a 3 minute walk out to a private gate leading to a beautiful little beach. We would get up early and watch the sunrise at the beach, and enjoyed some sunsets as well. The property is beautiful with lemon and orange trees everywhere, the smells are intoxicating. The villa itself was great, 2 bedrooms downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs. I slept upstairs and at night you can open the door and put in the screen to hear the sound of the ocean. It was a perfect way to fall asleep. The owners were great, so welcoming and sweet. They left us a big basket of oranges on the table to enjoy, they were so ripe and delicious. The location for us was perfect, it's a bit outside Cefalu, about 10 minutes or so by car. It was close enough to Cefalu for us, but isolated enough to provide some peace and quiet. Breathtaking view fom terrace

Villa Linda s situated just outside the small friendly village of Terrasini. A car is a necessity. The property is landscaped beautifully and the sea views are amazing. One can loung on the terrace with a glass of wine after a busy day of touring, cook dinner from locally sourced foods and enjoy the quiet. The kitchen is quite good, with everything provided. The bathroom is spacious, but be judicious in water usage as the hot water storage is small. There is heat in the master bedroom, but not for the main living area. Perhaps the owner will make repairs soon. No wifi, but one can drive into the town and enjoy a cappuccino in the bar with the umbrellas out front and check email. We found we did not miss checking email etc very much. Great location to drive to Erice, Zingaro Reserva, Monreale, Trapani etc. Sicily has our hearts! … see more
