“Great Michigan Getaway!” Our stay at Indian Pointe was beyond our expectations! The house and amenities were great! The only thing I will now know for next year (yes, we hope to return again next fall) was the fact that so many little things were supplied with the rental such as coffee, sugar, tea, coffee filters, etc. This was a great weekend getaway! It felt like our home away from home!

“Perfect Place for a Railroad History Buff” If you are a train buff, don't you want to try the incredible experience of staying in a caboose? The restored caboose has many amenities including a kitchenette, deck with a barbecue, beautiful surroundings, DVD player and tv, and a lovely family as hosts. “Peaceful ,comfortable, ideal location for visiting Snowdonia.” We were greeted with welsh cakes they were scrumptious. Although we were told the water was from a spring and may be discolored, we could taste nothing different to our own tap water. we felt that we were catered for in every way and would recommend this cottage to any one and everyone. We would like to say a really big thank you to the owners,they did us proud. “It's Delightful, It's Delicious, It's De-lovely!” One would think that Cole Porter wrote those lyrics after visiting Ye Olde Manor House! The owners, Karen Fulbright-Anderson and John anderson, are a delightful, warm, welcoming couple. They are so friendly and engaging that you feel at home almost as soon as you arrive. And their home reminds me of an English Country Cottage with the many comfortable seating areas and nooks and crannies expected. There is also a beautiful green lawn with several flowering beds and many lovely spots for sitting. But the piece de resistance of the public areas is the year-round indoor/outdoor pool, with a depth of no more than 5 feet, which makes it perfect for swimmers and non-swimmers (me) alike. First, and most importantly, each guest room has it's own private bath stocked with lovely smelling potions and lotions, big, soft, fluffy bath towels and anything else that you might need. Second, the rooms are lovely. I stayed in the 'Oak Room', which is filled with antique oak furniture and is perfect for one person. There is a chair for reading, a beautiful antique trunk that you can sit on use for your luggage and antique lamps, doilies and trinkets. There were two other guest rooms nearby, but I slept like a baby and never heard anyone else! The breakfast that John and Karen offer negates the need for lunch! You have a choice of Vegan, Vegetarian or the Meat and Dairy eaters breakfast, and everything they prepare is delicious! Finally, there are plenty of other things to do nearby-walking around the Lake, hiking, visiting the quaint Town of Elkhorn, attending concerts and, my favorite, antique fairs!! My long weekend at Ye Olde Manor House was so enjoyable and relaxing that it left me feeling as though I'd spent a week at a spa. Writing about it is making me feel the same way all over again. I can't wait to visit again!!!

“Pet-Friendly Destingation” As a 'Pet-Blogger', I am always looking for great places to holiday with our two dogs Henry, and Reese. More specifically, somewhere we can 'enjoy' with the dogs without having to worry about what to do with them when we visit restaurants, shops or go sightseeing. The Dolphin Inn was the perfect place to stay! This trip was arranged as a group get together; my husband, parents, in-laws and sister with her husband and two small children. The spacious accommodation meant no one felt as if they were tripping over one another. Although we didn't eat evening meals as a group, we enjoyed breakfast together at a large table located beside the spacious kitchen on the upper level. Because of the layout and quiet location of the Inn, we were comfortable leaving Henry and Reese to relax comfortably when we went out to do 'people only' things. Our hosts were very helpful with suggestions regarding things to do and see in the area. Upon arrival we found guides with locations and contact information, as well as preferred rates on several activities for guests of the Inn. I am happy to recommend The Dolphin Inn to groups or families with or without dogs!

“Great home -- everything you need -- close to PanAm pool” We rented Minoo's fabulous house while visiting Toronto with 3 Paralympic Athletes who competed at the new PanAm Pool this past March. We appreciated the roomy house, full kitchen, 4 bedrooms, comfortable beds, lots of extras and a nice, quiet neighborhood. Minoo was there to greet us when we arrived and was a terrific and conscientious host. We will stay there again.

“Escape from reality” My husband and I both have high-pressure jobs. We were looking for an escape from the grind. We found it at Water's Edge. As we entered the gate of this quaint island paradise reality melted away. The main living area is open and comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious. But I can't say that we spent much time in the house... The view from the back patio is breathtaking. The doors open to a beautiful outdoor living space which overlooks the Caribbean. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner outside! The days were lazy, filled with much needed R&R.; We read books, napped in the hammock, and simply enjoyed the sun and the seascape. The home has direct access to the water, and the pool is perfect for that quick dip to cool off. Although we were looking for a quiet getaway, nightlife was not far away. We found it easy to get over to Paradise Island for some dinner and gambling at atlantis. We enjoyed our trip so much we returned with our daughter the following year. She enjoyed it as much as we did. We've got a new baby at home, but are looking forward to getting back to Water's Edge soon.

“Great Stay” The house was a better option than hotel rooms. The house was very clean and they had everything necessary for a pleasant stay. They also provided pool towels for the pool or jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was nice and hot and a good option in the evening. Each bedroom had a TV and they had a pool table in the garage. It's a quiet neighborhood. It's not far from Disney or Walmart for groceries.

“Best family holiday we have had in ages” This is a really lovely place. The pool area and cabana are private and very user friendly. Beach in the morning and sheltered pool area in the afternoon, ideal with 3 teenagers. Bedrooms are spacious and everything works. We didn't bother with a/c just opened the house up and used the ceiling fans. Plenty of living space and room for people to do their own thing if they wanted to. Close to most things but far enough away from noise and crowds. It helps that Maui is absolutely brilliant. Andrew leaves you alone but is readily available to help with any minor issues. The kids said it was the best family holiday they have been on in ages. We agree.

“Relaxing and carefree” We had such a wonderful and memorable weekend. Very picturesque and ever so quiet when you're there mid season. There were wineries and breweries within a short driving distance, and the local restaurants are spot on. I would not suggest using GPS, it gets you in the vicinity but not to the right house. Thank goodness for pictures of the house. The kitchen is absolutely beautiful, but bring your own trash bags and sandwich bags etc. The master bath and bed is very nice. We loved the bed so much that we are buying a mattress exactly like it because we slept so well. My only other suggestion would be to have the house ready for arrival. The house was cold, and the entry way was not swept, I picked up a few pieces of trash laying around on the driveway, but I am a Manager of a very nice Boutique Hotel so I notice these small things. All in all it was so lovely and I would definitely stay again.

“A wonderful place to build memories” My wife and I recently stayed at the Crown Point beach house with our sons and their families. Spending this special time with our boys and the grand kids was enhanced by this beach house, which came completely equipped with more than we expected. Yvonne and Eric went above and beyond with their generousity. Would I recommend this beach house? Absolutely.

“Wonderful Vacation! Amazing home” What a beautiful home and a lovely neighborhood. I highly recommend hiring a car, there is a lot to see and do locally. We went into the town several times and enjoyed the local restaurants and shops. The highlight of our trip was renting a small boat with local fisherman for the day - he took us to Coronado Island where we snorkeled, beachcombed and sunbathed. A really wonderful experience that I highly recommend. The Loreto Bay community is very friendly, although it is an older crowd - 55+ but we had a fun time, being invited to several impromptu happy hours at local homes and enjoying an open mic night at the local wine bar!! A really wonderful vacation - I will be back again for sure!

“Which is More Beautiful...the Villa or the Views?!” If you are looking for a secluded, gorgeous and elegant villa with a stupendous view of the ocean and sunsets, look no further! It is exactly like the pictures, immaculately clean, extremely comfortable, and close to a food store and restaurants while still being very private. The living room has a cushy L-shaped couch and a large TV and the other end of the room has a large table for at least 8 people. The whole room has one side completely in glass overlooking the ocean and it's gorgeous. Each of the 5 bedrooms has the same view of the ocean as the verandah, pool, kitchen and living/dining room, and each has its own bathroom. The 2 main level bedrooms have their own private balconies and one opens up to the kitchen by way of a pass-through window, which of course is very convenient for passing out a glass of wine! I loved the dishes in the kitchen - I would use them at home. We loved how everything was so open to nature and how the plants and flowers not only surrounded the villa, but were also brought into the open walk-ways creating an inside garden. The pool is surrounded by lounge chairs and flowers, has rafts and is lovely. The carport out front was just as beautiful as the house and so nice to drive into when it was raining as it was connected to the house. Speaking of rainstorms, it was just beautiful watching storms approach from the horizon ) - again that view! - (we happened to be there when a tropical storm front was nearby) and because of the positioning of the house, we could sit on the open verandah during even the worst storms without getting wet. There was nothing we disliked about this villa and we give our highest recommendation!
