“An unforgettable stay in the lap of luxury!” I can't rate our stay at Palace view highly enough. From the very moment I emailed Ingrid to enquire about staying in the apartment I received friendly and prompt replies from her which just made the whole booking progress such a joy! It can be stressful organising holiday accommodation especially if you are doing it for yourself and your 5 others friends but Ingrid was happy to answer the thousands of questions we all had! It was so wonderful to know that we had beach towels and bath towels available to us at no extra charge and also that we would not be required to clean the apartment before leaving. It meant we had more time to relax and also more space in our bags for more important things. Palace view is absolutely stunning, with beautiful, neutral decor and a very homely feel about it. The photos accurately show what the apartment looks like. It was so helpful to have a real local's recommendations of where to eat and drink and which places to visit, which meant that we really made the most of our stay and didn't waste time at dodgy places! I highly recommend staying here and if I'm ever in Split again - I know where I'll be staying! Thanks Ingrid for a brilliant holiday. “Beautiful holidays close to the old town of Split - extremely he” We stayed at Studio apartment Lavender for two weeks with our baby daughter. The lovely hosts antonja and Drazen supported us during all phases of our holidays. They answered all our questions about the location and Split already prior to the trip, provided a bed for our little one and even helped us carrying our baggage to the bus-station during departure when 4 hands were not enough. The appartment is located in a quiet road just a short walk from the harbor and the beautiful old town. Restaurants and bars are close by. A nice beach can be reached within 20 minutes on foot. Stairs lead up to the Park Marjan inviting for nice jogging trips. The close by ferries allowed us easy day trips to the beautiful islands Brac and Hvar. The studio is affectionately furnished including kitchen, dish-washer and even a washing machine, which proved to be very valuable when travelling with a baby. All interior seemed to be new. A large table on the terrace in front of the appartment allowed to enjoy the warm evenings - the grapes hanging above invited for a sweet snack. We can highly recommend Studio apartment Lavender to couples and couples with a small child. Thank you very much again to antonja and Drazen.

“Perfect” We had a wonderful stay at Villa GG and will give it the best recommendation. We were 17adults and two small kids and everybody said it was a fantastic place and vacation. The Villa had everything, baby beds and strollers for the kids, and a play house in the garden. The host , GG, was very kind. He arranged pick up at the airport for us, gave us a warm welcome with wine and a cheese, gave us a lot of good tips on where to eat and what to see. The villa was very modern and had all the facilities we wanted. The main bathroom was like a spa:) The location of the Villa was also very good. 2 minutes to the beach and a small grocery shop. Very nice area to do exercise like running, bicycle in the mountains and play tennis. We rented a car so it was easy to drive in to Split if we wanted to go to a bigger shopping mall, but GG is also helpful in arranging transportation. We had a fantastic time and I really hope we will be back soon. Thank you so much GG and Croatia for the unforgettable week!

“Marmont Apt in Split - the best location” A very nice apartment next door to the owners, who are very attentive and helped us arrange the Split Museum Card. And he is a doctor! The apartment is roomy with all the facilities you need including clothes washing machine, furnished kitchen with appliances (no microwave), etc. Location is in the heart of the Split shopping area and surrounded by restaurants and nearby supermarket. Some minor inconveniences: 1. 4 flights of stairs to climb. 2. Bathroom has a sewer smell I would associate with a bad drain trap. 3. Instructions to apartment were good except for the last turn. We were instructed to look for a yellow building that is not immediately visible. A better instruction would have been "turn left at the 1 meter high steel coffee cup sitting in the middle of the pedestrian walk way," accompanies by a photo.

“Comfortable and friendly apartment in Split” the apartment is very comfortable ,compact and well equipped.It is situated in what appears as a semi rural area ,but which is very close to the centre of Split..It is also very close to the Majan peninsular which is a wooded rural area with beaches.Zoran and Ranka were very welcoming and made us feel very much at home even making us a lovely meal on the last day of our stay. The apartment has internet and television.We enjoyed our stay very much.

“Amazing view” We had a fantastic time at ark! Mladen was the perfect host, picking us up at the bus station even when our bus was delayed. He was super accommodating, and very sweet. The place was clean and had an amazing view. I look forward to our next trip there.

“Best location in Split Old Town!” This lovely apt.is well appointed, with modern appliances and very tastefully decorated. We spent 6 nights in Split and couldn't have asked for a better location! It's about a 10 min. walk from both the ferry or bus station (there's an airport bus every 30 min.to and from the main bus station, I think). Nela, who met us and let us into the apt. was so gracious and helpful. All the main sights and great shopping surround the apartment. Would definitely stay here again if we are fortunate enough to go back to Split!

“Lovely apartment, ideally placed for everything in Split” We found this well appointed studio ideally placed for a cultural but relaxing long-weekend break in the heart of Split. Just a short walk from the 'Rive' and Diocletian's Palace, we also enjoyed the fact that it's in the old town, with its narrow streets and excellent local restaurants. The Marjan is as close but up the hill, in the opposite direction. Tastefully decorated and well fitted out, the Studio's jewel is the terrace, where sunbathing or early evening 'sun downers' adds to the enjoyment.

Luxury Apartment In The Heart Of Split, 3 bdr, 3 bath, parking

“Felt like home & Gordan is an excellent host!” Villa Marjan is one of the best places we've ever rented. Our group of seven (plus baby) were halfway through a two week trip and needed to recharge a bit. The three floors (including a rooftop deck) gave us plenty of space spread out. The beds were very comfortable, each bedroom had its own bathroom, and individually controlled a/c units were in every room. We all slept very well. The amenities made it feel like we were staying at a friend's home - big dining room, full-sized refrigerator, large kitchen sink, stove, oven, charcoal grill, TVs, bathtubs, washer/dryer, desktop and wifi, etc. Everything was well-maintained and seemed fairly new. If it hadn't rained, the rooftop terrace would have been an excellent place to hang out at night, but the family room was a fine alternative. The location is also fantastic and was easy to find using our GPS. It's a very quiet neighborhood and we were ready to be off the tourist path for a bit. A small grocery store and bakery are about half a block away. A bar/cafe was also in walking distance. The walk to old town took maybe 10 minutes and is very straight forward (you only need to walk to the end of the block, turn left, and follow the road...). The walk to the ferry dock on the other side of the old town took only 20 minutes and was also very easy. Finally, the best part is probably Gordan. He was very easy to work with during the booking process and responds quickly to emails. Upon arrival, he spent almost an hour showing us around the house, giving us a lay of the land, answering questions about restaurants and the ferry, trying to figure out why my cell phone wasn't working, helping us call in a pizza order, etc. When we were leaving, he was very flexible about the baby's nap cutting into checkout time and saved us a heap of time by accompanying the drivers to the ferry dock so they could get the cars in line. I feel very confident recommending Villa Marjan and Gordan for your future travels to Split!
