“Fantastic stay with a little bit of luxury” Myself and my girlfriend visited the callow lodge in sept for a long weekend and were pleasantly surprised with the facilities both in the lodge and at the site. Being an adults only site was very good as the site was more relaxed and not packed out. Facilities within the lodge were very good and particularly the use of the private hot tub. The only downside I could possibly mention is the site didn't take credit/debit cards only cash which when they required £70 deposit + when we went out to eat at the on site restaurant which also required cash meant we required multiple trips out off site for cash.

“Shropshire at its Best” This cottage was by far the best holiday rental we have experienced. The location, looking up at The Long Mynd, was perfect, the walking excellent and the local pub great! We shall hope to return for more holidays in The Byre.

“Delightful cottage in a fantastic location” Had a wonderful week at Shepherds Cottage. There were plenty of walks with beautiful scenery from the door. The cottage was cosy with lovely views of the hillside from the windows.

“There is nothing left to say” I realy cant add anything else to previous reviews. Hillgate house is Home from Home. Don't worry if you have left anything behind, I can assure you its there waiting for you at Hillgate House. Just one constructive critism a bigger fridge with possibly a freezer would be wonderfull. Otherwise !!! what can I say .

“the best cottage you could rent” The landlord Phil is wonderful. The location in a few minutes from town. The cottage is very comfortable and immaculate. Off road parking for 3 cars. Garden furnature to sit outside. Quiet location. If I could live there I would!

“Hot tub heaven” This is our second visit to the Old Barn. Visitors may be a bit surprised on arrival as the property is part of a business, with commercial property and vehicles close by. Don't let that put you off. The property is excellent, with excellent underfloor heating, power showers, 4 poster bed and a hot tub among many features. The owners are on site and if there are any problems they can assist virtually immediately. What more can I say? Ah yes, the hot tub. I wonder how much they cost.

“Peace and solitude” Perfectly equipped and proportioned holiday let for two people. Tucked away in the middle of the Shropshire countryside it feels remote and isolated, but is only a short drive from a couple of villages with a choice of decent pubs nearby. Well placed for access to the Long Mynd, Stiperstones, and Wenlock Edge, it makes a good base for a walking holiday. If you are looking for some quiet down-time then this is the place to stay, but be prepared to wash your car at the end of the week - the local lanes get very muddy from the farm traffic!

“Excellent holiday cottage” This is a beautiful cottage, lovely decor and facilities. Lovely to have a choice of outdoor eating areas, too. All on one level so perfect for families. The owners were friendly and helpful. We recommend visiting acton Burnell castle, just a few minutes walk from the cottage. A perfect spot for a picnic or walk. “Didnt stay in this building ...” Gor the dairy instead so people who had booked didnt have to move out & back in. Very lovely people & dog, Molly on working farm in very quiet area. Barn owl flew over car on approach to house. So cosy & had everything we needed for weekend break. One place I would go back to & not just for homemade cake on arrival. Did find farm hard to find due to lack of lighting on road through but no real problem
