“Loved It, Didn't Want to Leave It!” Laguna Vista is removed from the main street and an easy 15 minute walk or quick bike ride to town. We added a couple taxi rides as needed which were cheap and easy. Absolutely no problems getting around! Tony and Jo are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond and filled in so many gaps for us. They live upstairs and are easily accessible, helpful and all around terrific people! I can't say how much we appreciated them and knowing there was someone on the island we could trust should we hit a snafoo! Also loved the extra's such as having a local cell phone, bikes to ride, flowers in conch shells. The grounds of Laguna Vista are immaculate; the pool total relief, soothing fountain sounds great at night and an amazing palapa to dine under! Only drawback- it's hot to cook in the kitchen. The bedrooms have awesome aC and we slept like rocks. The town- delightful; many memories and meals we remember fondly- don't miss El Picante, La Picola. We also enjoyed an awesome BBQ of our own fresh caught wahoo at Laguna Vista. Such a great time, Thank You!

“Absolutely Wonderful & Perfect!” I would most definitely recommend Casa Frida to anyone looking for a place to stay in Merida!My husband and I felt like Katia and her mother, Patricia, went the extra mile to meet our every need. They made my family feel at home and welcome throughout our entire stay. The house was clean, beautiful and cozy! They provide you with cookware, utensils, etc. which made my stay with 2 children a lot easier!! The aC kept us nice and cool throughout our stay, as well as the gorgeous pool in the patio. The temperature of the water was perfect, and laying in the hammock was very relaxing. The neighborhood was friendly, safe and peaceful. There are many restaurants and stores close by, as well as the Centro Historico. I would absolutely recommend Casa Frida to anyone that is looking for a vacation rental! Whether it be for a family or a couple, you can't go wrong with this beautiful house. Thanks again Katia and Patricia for making our stay a very special one! “Accomodation perfect, exactly as advertised” The casita was clean and well appointed. The owners were professional and exceptional in their concern to make sure our needs were being met. Green Valley is a large, vibrant retirement community with excellent facilities for all types of activities and learning. The valley is close enough to Tucson to also enjoy that city's tourist attractions.

“A wonderful house in a wonderful setting” My wife and I so enjoyed our time in the Stones' house on a lake. It is beautiful with all the needs any visitor could want. I enjoyed boating on the lake, seeing eagles and other creatures. The folk we encountered in the area were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the local church. “Enjnoyed the location & home” January was cold temp wise.Home needed a telephone as at&T; cell phones don't work well in area. Location along golf course is wonderful. “Relaxing in the beautiful arizona desert” We spent 2 weeks at this Casita and would recommend to all as easy going and beautiful place to stay. The grounds are very well maintained with two patios with tables and chairs for both. The back patio has a gas grille. The interior is very well appointed. The master bedroom is very spacious with a King, separate shower and a Jacuzzi. Views and access to back patio. The second bedroom is a little smaller but has a tub, shower and large walkin closet. The great room is very comfortable and makes you feel just like home. The best part, everything is on one level, no stairs! The location is central to both Carfree and Cave creek, and the gated security is very reassuring.
