“Awesome getaway!” Hearts Delight and the hosts, Mac and Dar are just that...a delight! The cabin is clean and comfortable with all the amenities of home but in a very relaxed country setting. The grounds are just beautiful and well maintained with a fire pit, swimming and fishing ponds, walking trails through the woods and a shared hot tub. You could not ask for a nicer getaway that is not that far from many of Ohio's highlights.

“Home away from home” I own my own business, so any time away is especially precious. Kilkelly's West Wing Cottage was the perfect fit. Unlike the institutional feel of a hotel room, the West Wing is like a home away from home. Immediately, we felt comfortable and relaxed. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well kept. The rooms were equipped with every possible item anyone would need, even a tea kettle and grill accessories for the gas grill. The commercial like ice maker was an unexpected surprise. They even provided a small cooler for day trips. Normally in a hotel room, I am loathe to touch anything and notice the dirt and traces of previous guests. Immediately you can see how clean and welcoming the West Wing is - I had no hesitation using any of the amenities. We are very picky travelers and the West Wing exceeded our expectations. The breakfast casserole was so good I even got the recipe! There are several televisions with satellite, DVD, Blue-Ray, etc - available but we never even turned them on. It was so relaxing enjoying the sunrise, sunset and mountain views, we had no need for the outside world. We would not hesitate to come back and highly recommend the West Wing! :)

“The best of the best” I have been visiting and staying in rental places in Western NC for many years and the Kilkelly Cabin has no peer. The cabin is perfect and the views other worldly but the best part of the experience are the hosts. Joanie and Gary made sure our stay was more than we ever could have imagined. We celebrated my son's graduation from App St, my Mom's 80th birthday and Mother's Day all in one spectacular long weekend. It literally could not have been better. 5 stars are not nearly enough. Thanks Joanie and Gary. We'll be back

“A Classy Vacation Experience in any Season” My brother, who has problems walking, and I stayed at Sunnybank for a little under a week in the early spring when the Corolla horses are foaling. The layout of the well-appointed, three-storey main building was perfect for our needs: the fabulous view from the top floor living room provided the inspiration for him to walk up the grand stair case, and he could take the elevator when he was having problems walking. (There are two bedrooms with walk-in showers to accommodate people who have a problem walking.) It rained the first two days, which might have been gloomy any where else, but the library of videos, and stashes of games and playing cards gave us the opportunity to connect in ways that we hadn't since we were children. The fabulous cook's kitchen and multiple eating areas can accommodate a wedding party, family reunion, or any get away time one might want. Mine was a working vacation and the office there, which is outfitted with excellent Ethernet and WiFi connections plus a daybed for napping, was a better arrangement than my office at home. Comfort and casual, yet classy ambience abounds at Sunnybank. An excellent find!

“Relaxing” Just a couple of items that we would liked to have had...1st. kind of dissapointed their was only one refridgerator. The one in the kitchen just wasn't big enough for the amount of people we had. 2nd. the beach umbrella and beach items are extremely outdated and not very inviting to use. “Our stay allowed us to create alot of wonderful memories!” Overall, the stay was wonderful! The size of the home was more than accomodating and it was nice to have so many options to sleep! The ease of booking and check in was 5 star! The only down side to this vacation was that the home was not extremely clean and there was an alarm going off in the backyard that was pretty loud. We found a couple of things that may have been left by the cleaning company, but were a bit unsettling. There was a surgeons mask left in one room and insulin needles in another. Also, there was an alarm that went off early one morning in the back yard that was flashing and had a loud beeping noise. We could not turn it off and because it was New Year's day there was no one available to come out and fix the situation. As mentioned before, these are all things that are minor and we had a wonderful vacation creating memories! We would stay in this house again and would recommend this to a friend.

“Great Experience!!!” Our family of 6 stayed at Judge's Chambers over the 4th of July week this year. The house was spacious and had a huge, beautiful pool. The location was great - as close to the beach as you can get without renting a house on it. Extra amenities - such as wireless internet and a gas grill - were much appreciated and utilized! Outer Banks Blue had great customer service. Everything was easy and conducted over the phone and internet. Loved the keyless entry and the linens included. On the one occasion that we had to contact them during our trip, they returned our call promptly and happily answered our question. We would highly recommend both Judge's Chambers and Outer Banks Blue to anyone looking for a great Outer Banks vacation!!
