Description
Ours is a log lodge built by owner in the year 2000. It is 90 sq meters (3000 sq feet) on 2 floors with 3 bedrooms and sleeps 7(8) adults. It sits on the lower slopes of a small mountain with a magnificent view over river below and the mountain range afar. A hot water tub is on the large patio that surrounds the house (we try to keep tub working through winter but cannot guarantee it). The house is conveniently located just off the Ringroad (Route #1 goes a full circle around Iceland) centrally in West Iceland within one hour's drive from Reykjavik and many major attractions such as:

Response from the owner I'm very pleased that you enjoyed your stay, but you should not be unhappy about paying the full price. As you say you had agreed to the rate, but in the end I had to compromise on a lower rate. The cleaning fee is clearly stated on the TA listing and quote. So I believe is TA's fee. You are right about there not being a mention of checkout time in the inhouse info folder and that has now been amended. I hope that regardlessof this your overall experience is positive
