New for this year:

There is a brand new kitchen featuring a marble floor, range cooker and plenty of fridge space.

There is an additional outside seating and dining area in addition to the existing hot tub terrace.

To ensure the safety of our guests and staff we follow the current guidelines from the government with regards to enhanced cleaning and guest group sizes.

Recently refurbished to a high standard, this private Georgian residence is on the ground floor and was previously a school house. It offers 3 bedrooms; 2 doubles and 1 twin room, each with their own ensuite.

The recently installed Mediterranean style terrace and seating area offer a pleasant place to relax around the heated swimming pool and large premium hot tub. The swimming pool is open April- November and the hot tub is open all year round, both are for your own private use. Please note the outdoor areas and facilities close at 9pm and we ask that no music is played outside out of respect for our neighbours.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. It also includes a large 5 burner range cooker, utensils, crockery, glasses and pots and pans. The huge lounge is a generous ten metres by five and offers three comfy sofas (these are also double sofa beds), a flat screen Sony TV and music system. The large dining table provides a comfortable seating and dining experience for guests, while the pool table and board games offer something for everyone. Free WIFI is included.

There is free parking available on site. Buses run to Bath or Chippenham up to 4 times per hour.

Travel cot, high chair and baby bath are available on request.

The Neighbourhood - Box has plenty to offer, an Indian restaurant just 100m away, three pubs all serving good food and a wide array of small convenience shops. This is a great location if exploring the surrounding Cotswolds countryside, visiting Lacock, Badminton, Bath, Bristol or working at the MOD in Corsham.

“Great stay at the New School Rooms”

A lovely weekend spent at this quaint hideaway in the village of Box, around 5 miles from Bath with a bus stop a couple of minutes walk away. The owners have some lovely touches like fresh milk and jam left in the fridge and a freshly baked loaf dropped off to us. The rooms are very well equipped with towels,hair dryers, lots of cooking utensils and board games ready for use. The pool also has lots of inflatables available. The main room is large, spacious and clean. Our only small gripe was that the lighting in the bedrooms was a bit on the dark side but otherwise a lovely place and would not hesitate about booking again in the future
