Description

Snowgums is a beautifully renovated old mountain farmhouse. Throughout the apartment there are stunning ceilings, beamed and vaulted, and mountain views from all the windows. The apartment is light and bright, with a well provisioned kitchen and lots of toys on hand for children. Great for a couple or young family. We provide refreshments in a welcome pannier, and are on hand to give you advice and suggestions for the best things to do on your visit to this stunning area with 300 days of sunshine per year.

Stays are generally Saturday to Saturday. Shorter or longer stays are welcome. Please ask for prices for your group and dates.

Pricing here is for a maximum of 2 people. The apartment will sleep up to two more, in which case a supplement applies.

We are happy to welcome dogs, on the understanding that they are well behaved and don't damage furnishings. Price is 15€ per day per dog.

We regret that because this is a 250 year old building that it is not wheelchair accessible.

Air conditioning is natural throughout. Summer days are hot, but the mountains cool at night so that evenings and mornings are fresh and offer a good time for ventilation. There is solid protection from the heat with one metre thick walls, and plenty of ventilation through open doors and windows.

Getting around

A car isn't necessary if you're here to ski as there are free ski buses taking you the 2km to the slopes, all day, every day. Out of ski season there are a few buses that take you further afield, and there are regular buses into town all day, but a car or bikes will mean you can really explore the area and see all it has to offer.

We ask you to kindly NOT wear shoes or boots inside the house. Adult slippers are provided; please bring kids' slippers or thick socks for wearing indoors. The house is absolutely NO SMOKING, both for safety reasons and for the comfort of all guests. Pets are welcome so long as they are well-behaved and house trained. Additional charge for pets of 15€ per day.

How do damage deposits work?

If Pippa (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
