Cathedral Church of St. Nicholas, built in the 14th century on an ancient Paleochristian Church of Basilian monks, has within it two stone works of the 16th century, of great value, signed by the sculptor "Stephanus Abulie Poteniani" (Stefano da Putignano): a Madonna with child, known as the ' Madonna del Cardellino ' and a small Tabernacle.

Sanctuary of the Madonna of Ibernia (Madonna de Bernis): 3 km from town, this Sanctuary is related to a legend; It was the Virgin Mary, in fact, with an appearance to indicate the exact location where it would be built the shrine dedicated to her. The soil around is rich in pottery and artefacts dating back to Roman and medieval times. Was found also a Byzantine capitals and some tombs and this suggests that the sanctuary stands on the ruins of a town, revolving around an early Christian Church.

Farmhouses: in the countryside of Cisternino has several rural houses that represent the typical Apulian farmhouse from the field including Masseria Villa Cenci, Yarralumla, Devitofranceschi Farm, Farmhouse and Masseria Coast Montanaro.

----Natural areas: among the environmental goods to be highlighted is the whole landscape. Tourism in Cisternino has grown over the past decade thanks to the only good things about this small town: nature, the landscape, the "trulli" and the spontaneous architecture of the old town.

The Communal forest. in the municipality there are approximately 400 hectares of forest 244.18.33 of municipal property, from 250 to 350 m s.l.m. Communal forests are the largest vegetable formation in the province. Currently work is underway to improve with replacement of aleppo pine and cypress, with indigenous hardwoods (fragno, Raju, Ilex etc.) that harmonize best with the essences are present, such as carob, Hackberry, carpinella, manna-ash, maple, etc. Rimboschiti municipal territories are about 42 hectares.

---The cliclovia of water: The water cliclovia is the second cycle path on the aqueduct in Europe, in particular the stretch of aqueduct Pugliese (AQP) made by the region of Puglia and AQP Spa along the service road of the main channel of the aqueduct between Ankara (BA) crossing the territories of Cisternino (BR), Ostuni (BR) until the territory of Ceglie Messapica (BR) near the pine wood Ulmo.

Has been recently remodeled improving the flooring (made of stone chips pressed), equipped with protective gear, RV Parks and access points for a total of about 10 km of perfectly passable ciclovia with road bikes.

The route winds its way into the Mediterranean, outside the traffic along the rural houses, farms, trulli and agglomerations (villages and hamlets) appreciating the beauty of the Valle d'Itria away from modern frenzy.
