A beautiful, 18th Century cottage, bursting with original features, with a private South facing garden next to a river.

Positioned in a quite private lane, just off Buckfastleigh high street, River Garden Cottage provides a bright, relaxing, characterful home, ideal for exploring the wonderful Devon countryside by day before returning for cosy evenings in by the log burning fire.
Stepping into the open-plan living, kitchen and dining area, you'll find an abundance of exposed stonework, oak flooring and beams, matched with rustic and original furniture and fittings.
A short distance from the cottage is a private lawned garden, with a seating area over looking the fast flowing River Mardle.
We provide a parking permit allowing use of any of the four near-by town car parks. There is also a private parking space with a narrow access for a small to medium sized car approximately 100 meters from the cottage.

“Superb stay for parents”

We booked this for my parents and grandmother to stay, during our local wedding and they all said how wonderful this was. Paul was super helpful and friendly - could not have been better!

How do damage deposits work?
