“This is a gorgeous and spacious lake home with plenty of amentities for adults and child. 5 Stars!!!!” This property is on a gorgeous location on top of a small hill. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. Our group enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we took full advantage of the amenities in the property like out door fire pit, hammock, boats/kayak allowed by the home-owner to be used by us. The house has enough space--we were a group of 9 people and the space was ample however there is only one shower so that might be a limitation. the kitchen was very spacious and had all the stuff needed for cooking. It would have been nice if there was a functional grill for using outdoors--the one that was there was kind of old and did not work very well. There was some strange odor in the dishwasher but that might be because of its limited usage. Overall, this place is highly recommended for vacation stay. The owners were really nice and friendly and the view and location is absolutely spectacular! My Response Thank you for your kind words. I do want to say that we have replaced the outdoor grill. I'm sorry you had trouble with it. I checked the dishwater also but could not smell or see anything in the trap. We disconnected the plumbing to examine and clean. Whatever the odor was, it's gone. “A great get away weekend” My family visited Cooperstown in Oct. of 2009 and stayed in this wonderful house. The location was great: it wasn't too far of a drive into downtown Cooperstown and all the attractions but far enough out of town to enjoy the peacefulness of the surrounding area. This property was well kept and has water access to the beautiful lake just across the street. The views of the lake and the surrounding woods can be seen from almost every room of the house; I especially loved the rooms in the front of the house which were all windows and you could enjoy the amazing views while eating meals. This house contained an amazing kitchen (newly renovated it seemed) and bathrooms while keeping with the charm and style of the area and surrounding houses. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning soon hopefully.

“A Relaxing Get-Away During the Fall Season!” My husband and I stayed at this cozy cabin during the fall season to "get away from it all" and relax. The fall colors in this area are amazing, and we took some outstanding photos of the mountains and valleys surrounding the cabin. The cabin, with its unique rustic furnishings, makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive! We were there to relax: watching movies, looking through the wonderful collection of books, and just enjoying the "quiet". We were impressed with this clean and tidy cottage, and found that it accomodated all of our needs, and expectations!
