Villa Tambora

The stylish, L-shaped Villa Tambora includes 3 bedrooms. There is plenty of room for up to 8 people. This is the ideal accommodation if you wish to travel in a group or with your family, enjoying tastefully designed furnishings, quiet sleeping, dining and living, surrounded by beautiful rice fields.

The lovely landscaped garden stretches out over two levels. Next to your own, inviting overflow-pool, you find a thatched Alang-Alang Balé. Traditionally crafted from quality Coconut timber and natural Alang-Alang reed thatching, the Balé has been used for centuries by the Balinese as a place of shelter and relaxation from the intense tropical sun, providing shade that is up to 10 degrees cooler than any other shade material.

The ground floor comprises one bedroom with a double bed and a convertible sofa. It connects to a spacious, elegant bathroom, full of orchids and tropical plants, with an inviting, black terrazzo bathtub and a black lava stone shower. The fully equipped, open kitchen with cooking island is next to a stylish dining area with wooden furniture for 10 people. Enjoy the cool and breezy living-hall with beautiful, high-quality rattan furniture. Thanks to the sliding doors in the kitchen, you can enjoy this space open or closed.

Continuing up the elegant teakwood stairs, you reach the second floor, which includes two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with a double bed and a convertible sofa. All bedrooms are bright and luxurious, tastefully decorated with traditional, colorful Ikat-tapestry, which the owners of Yoma Villas Bali brought back from one of their trips to Sumbawa Island. Each bedroom comes with a double bed and a convertible sofa. There is plenty of storage room in the wooden cupboards and you have a lovely view to the garden and the rice fields. A long, covered terrace connects both bedrooms with each other. An additional, secluded terrace invites you to relax, do some yoga or sun-bathing.

The elegant bathrooms captivate through materials as white terrazzo and dark, volcanic river stones.

All bedrooms are equipped with our exclusive room-in-room mosquito-net solution, air condition and fans.

Location

Our Villas are built in a modern, tropical style, situated in a secluded area of 5000 m2 and surrounded by a few neighbouring villas and pretty rice fields. From your balcony you can watch the local farmers harvesting their rice paddies. The legendary surf breaks at Echo beach are only a few minutes away and there is a wide range of restaurants available. You can mingle with the locals, trying one of the numerous “Warungs”, with its typical Indonesian dishes, or you decide to dine in one of the elegant upper-class restaurants - there is something for everybody! Within a 10 minute drive you are at the famous sunset temple Tanah Lot and Nirvana Golf course. Within a 20 minute drive you can enjoy the nightlife, trendy shops and restaurants of Seminyak. The airport is a 40 minute drive away. On request we will organize the rental of a scooter, motorbike, car or a car with your own driver. Of course you can also use the local taxis, which are very affordable.
